Horrible from start to finish. When you book an appointment there is a standard 10 minutes you are out in hold before being helped. When you show up on time you spend another 45minutes in the waiting room with all the other annoyed parents that have been there before you. The office staff is forever changing and you get the feeling that it is always their first day on the job. When we first brought our daughter Dr. Bregman was wonderful. She combined her experience as a Dr and mother to give you a range of things to try. Now the drs just quote what the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend like I couldn't have just googled that before I went. They have no respect for people and families that don't think exactly like they do. There is no sense in trying to work with you if you aren't comfortable with their plan. When they realize you don't share their viewpoint they treat you like garbage so much so that my 7 yr old even picked up on it. Avoid this practice at all costs. If you want to have a say in your child's healthcare this isn't the place for you. read more

Every doctor in this all female practice spends ample time during each appointment to answer questions and discuss medical diagnoses and next steps in a way that insures parents are well-informed and know all of their options. They make you wait on average 45 minutes in the waiting room, every time. It's just strange, there could be no one there and you still wait. Makes me hesitant to go for an appointment. I just think it is so rude. Dr's are nice and easy to talk to, but who has the time to spend three hours in a Dr's office. read more

We've been using Franklin Pediatrics since moving to the area over a year ago. When looking for a Pediatrician, I didn't find many reviews for the area, so I hope this help a little for others. In this practice we have been see only by Dr. Maureen Baxley. I really like her. She has excellent bed side manner with both my kids and is very patient with the numerous questions that a concerned parent has. We haven't had any major medical urgencies (knock on wood) to really comment on how the office reacts to that. But based on my interactions with Dr Baxley, I have little concern. Overall have no major complaints, although I am not overly thrilled with the office staff. But then again compare to most office staff, they're on par. read more

We switched to this practice to stay with Dr. Dick, who we used starting from right after our daughters birth. She is warm, caring, gentle and patient. She is also non-judgmental about our parenting style and choices. She makes specific suggestions that work with our lifestyle and family life. She has taken time outside of the office visit to research a question we had and follow up. A day after one of our visits, Dr Dick called us and gently told us about a concern that she had, but was not sure during the visit if it was a problem, but thinking about it for the rest of the day, she wanted to be safe. It is hard to find a doctor who will not only think about his/her patients beyond the 15 minute visit, but also have concern for them as if the child was her own. (the issue was that my daughter's very pudgy legs were not symmetrical with the rolls and she was concerned about her hips.) I have found that the wait time is at times very long and, to me, unnecessary. read more

I have been coming here for close to five years and love our pediatrician. Over the years and with two kids, we've seen all of the doctors on staff and have to say they are all caring and knowledgeable. The same goes for the nurses, they are caring and friendly. From a technological standpoint, they are moving forward and now everything is computerized (finally!) Having come from a modernized practice in NYC that had all their medical records electronically, it was a huge step back to see everything being handwritten. Happy to see Franklin Pediatrics is moving into the 21st century. The three star rating is not for the quality of care but for the surly front office staff who basically make or break anyone's first impression of the practice. Not only are they extremely rude and unfriendly but they always seem to make you feel like they are doing YOU a favor. I can't tell you how many times I have called and either been put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time (I'm talking about longer than five minutes) or been hung up on only to have to call back and be put through the same torture with a moody receptionist/data entry clerk. On a recent visit I asked the clerk on my way out of their office was open on the Saturday before Christmas because I called numerous times (like at least 15) for a sick appointment and only got the automated recording saying their offices were currently closed. I didn't expect them to be open so close to Christmas but figured their "answering" service would say otherwise. Now, having been coming here for years I am well aware of their Saturday morning hours (8:30-11am if you are wondering). Her response was, "of course we were open, we're open every Saturday morning from 8:30-11am". Okay so why didn't anyone answer the phone? Her response? "Well we were open and we had a waiting room full of people, so..." Ummm so it's just MY phone that didn't get through? Okay lady. She then said to me, "next time that happens, just come here anyway." Okay so you want me to pile my sick kids in the car, drive over 20 minutes in the off chance that you will accommodate us? No thanks. Instead we went to MedExpress and were very well treated by the nurse, doctor AND the front office staff! What a novel concept! The salty dogs at Franklin could take some lessons from this staff, that's for sure! read more

BEWARE of this practice and staff. It has been 10 months and we are still waiting for reimbursement for visits we were forced to pay out of pocket for our newborn (while waiting for our insurance to kick in retro to his date of birth). The practice has yet to resolve the situation after many calls and letters from our insurance company stating reimbursement is owed. They gave us several bogus reasons for their mistake (i.e. new billing system issue, we fell through the cracks, client supposed to file, etc.) We will continue to seek reimbursement which is owed to us. We want others to know of the horrible treatment and challenges of this practice so that you can avoid it. Look elsewhere! The office and Dr. Gotfried do not care about their relationship with their customers (so why entrust them with your child's care). read more

I have been going to Franklin Pediatrics since my daughter was born. (if you want to read only negative please read the last paragraph) We began with Dr. Baxley, whom i LOVE. She was always patient, kind, caring, understanding, and would answer all of your questions calmly no matter how many you had. She never seemed rushed to get out. I could go on and on about how amazing she is, but unfortunately she is no longer at the practice. Since she left, i have seen many different doctors. Some more than once and others only one time. I will come right out and say that I have never met Dr. Nitti therefore i cannot comment on her practices. I have met Dr. Rosania one time, she seemed nice enough but to be fair it was brief and in the hospital. Next I met Dr. Gotfried, she seems to know what she is doing and is nice as well. She isn't my personal taste but i am fine with seeing her for sick visits. Again i've only seen her 2 or 3 times for sick visit. Dr. Ashton I have seen multiple times and she is also very nice and understanding. I would definitely recommend her especially for anyone with children playing sports. She is down to earth and very helpful! 5 stars! I would also give Dr. Bregman 5 stars! She is VERY understanding. she does not criticize and will direct you in any situation you are in how to best take care of your child in that situation. She is very nice and caring, i would definitely recommend her especially for new moms! Now, here in lies my problem with Franklin Pediatrics. Dr. Dick. Yes, thats her name, and she is exactly that. She is heartless, rude, degrading, and I have never in my daughters entire life EVER heard her scream as much as she did when Dr. DICK examined her. My daughter does not ever cry. EVER. not even when shes hungry. She was crying so much when Dr. dick did her examination that she was hyperventilating. The whole time this doctor was telling me that i needed to hold her down more, i needed to do this when all i wanted to do was take my child and run. I am switching practices because of this experience. I will NEVER allow my child to go back to this doctor for ANY reason. I am also curious as to why she left the practice she was at for 13-15 years. regardless, DO NOT EVER go to Dr. DICK. read more

Money hungry practice, I agree with the other reviewer but did not have any positive experience. Be warned they are not very attentive and rush out the door. If you want to be treated like just another number, this is your place. Be prepared to wait since appointments never seem to run on time. The only doctor I would recommend is Dr Ashton. read more

We recently moved from Long Island to East Hanover, we were recommended to this office by some parents at our kids daycare. Every time we have had an appointment, we find that the staff is exceptionally rude, almost obnoxious. There is almost always an hour wait to even see a doctor. On today's sick visit, while my 5 yr old was getting a strep culture, the nurse said and I quote " i know this is a pain in the ass". The waiting rooms had garbage left around the exam room was filthy. The doctor we met with was very nice and knowledgeable, however, today was the last time I hope to step foot into Franklin Pediatrics. It's a shame because some of the doctors ( Dr. Ashton and maybe one other) in this practice are very kind. read more

I only gave this practice three stars for one main reason- their front desk/office staff- not very welcoming at all!! Ok maybe two reasons- I wouldn't see want to see ALL of the doctors on staff there- my reason for picking this office as my pediatricians in the first place was from recommendations from friends that HIGHLY recommended Dr Rosania and Dr Ashton and I have to say they are both wonderful!!!!!!!!!! I have only seen Dr Bregman once and she was great also!!!! We did have a bad experience with one other dr in this practice and from previous reviews I think you can guess who-- but we are still going to this practice because of Dr Rosania and Dr Ashton - they are wonderful even after office hours they will get back to you right away!! They work with you to do what is best for your child which should be the primary focus of your pediatrician!! As far as the 3 star rating- it's mostly because of their office staff - most of the nurses are good- but front desk- definitely could be better- sometimes depending on who you talk to - you wonder if they listened to a word you just said- but if you are firm and refuse to be overlooked - as I am!! You will be fine in this practice - and Dr Rosania and Dr Ashton are definitely worth it!! Oh and it's also nice that they are affiliated and on staff with Morristown Memorial Hospital and their children's hospital!!!! We have been with Dr. Bregman since my son was born, only leaving if insurance changed. We tried Madison Pediatrics and Morristown Peds and none of the physicians compared. All of the doctors at Franklin are great but Dr. Bregman is especially loving and patient with my son and he actually looks forward to seeing her. There is no way I would consider switching unless our insurance changed and we had to. We love her! read more

This practice is amazing!!! We see Dr. Rosania and she is wonderful. She is very attentive to our child and our needs. She gets back to us whenever we have a questions and is very caring. The office staff is also great. If we need an emergency visit they fit us in right away. We love it here!! We would recommend this practice to anyone read more
