I've only seen Dr. Merkle himself a few times during visits, as I usually see his Physician's Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (either Donna or Beth), but they are always on point and extremely helpful. I never have an issue getting an appointment (even same day!), and the whole office and staff are just wonderful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Merkle and his team if you are in the market for a primary care physician.

She guided me and reassured me from his very first new born visit, to teaching me to sleep train him, and having a breastfed baby that slept through the night at 4 months old! She is a God sent! Her presence is calming and nurturing which really settles and uneasy sick child. Her approach is never to over medicate instead to address the illness in the most practical and effective way. There are never too many people in the waiting room and the wait is never long. They are very accommodating and will work to get your child scheduled as soon as possible. He is a perfectionist who likes things to be done thoroughly and systematically which is something I value in a doctor trained to be evaluating my children's health. He never short changes you on time or attention. And the last strike, most insulting: just received word that unless I comply with strictest APA vaccine schedule within 30 days my son is effectively expelled from the practice, not even alternate schedule will be considered. I really like the homey feel of the office and that I see the same doctor every time. The staff is very efficient and caring. The turn around of requested documentation is very quick. The doctors take the time to listen to the concerns and do not seem rushed. It is rare that I have to wait for more than 20 minutes after the appointment to be seen. More often than not we are seen right away and the nurses are great with the boys. In addition to my boys being treated by these doctors my brothers were also patients of this wonderful duo. They had no explanation as to how that could have happened and indicated that the vial/container arrived at the lab empty. The negligence that had to occur for this to happen is insurmountable. As a cancer patient in the throws of treatment for another type of cancer, a lost lesion sample is not only reckless and unforgiveable, but dangerous to a patients overall health. Because the entire growth was removed, there is no way to take another sample. Their solution was to offer me some antibiotic ointment for the area. If you value your life, stay as far away from this place as you can. Both my oncologist and the insurance company have been notified.
