Had a lesion/growth removed and was called a few days later to inform me that the sample was lost. Yes, LOST. They had no explanation as to how that could have happened and indicated that the vial/container arrived at the lab empty. The negligence that had to occur for this to happen is insurmountable. As a cancer patient in the throws of treatment for another type of cancer, a lost lesion sample is not only reckless and unforgiveable, but dangerous to a patients overall health. Because the entire growth was removed, there is no way to take another sample. Their solution was to offer me some antibiotic ointment for the area. If you value your life, stay as far away from this place as you can. Both my oncologist and the insurance company have been notified. read more

HORRIBLE! Scheduled an appointment here for a suspicious mole. They asked about my insurance which I gave them. They called me to ask if I could come earlier and I said ok. I take a day off work to go to this appointment and I get there... they tell me they don't take my insurance. WTF?? read more

I went to get my first "skin map". After signing in, I was given a "Patient's Rights" form listing 10 rights, one of which was "Patient's Privacy", which they themselves violated, in my opinion. After all our privacy is defined by our own values. It may be personal for me, but I'm old fashion and self-conscious. I was led to the room and instructed to undress to my boxers--yes, I'm a man. The doctor, a male, came into the room, followed by a female assistant, not a nurse. She was there to take dictation from the doctor as he reported his observations vocally while conducting the assessment. Once the procedure was completed, the female assistant left the room and allowed me to share my discomfort with the doctor, having a woman present in the room while I was basically naked. I explained to him that having her there made me feel embarrassed, uncomfortable, self-conscious, and humiliated. He seemed offended by my comment, saying, "She doesn't care about you wearing clothes." At that moment, I was sure he had cheated on his medical school finals. I had to point out the specific Patient's Right that documented the patient's right to privacy, perceived or otherwise. He condescendingly asked me, "What would you have me do?" I had to point out, "She was taking dictation, which required that she hear you, not see me." "She could do that from another room." "Or here's a novel idea, how about a privacy curtain in the room, which might be all of a $100 investment." This doctor was arrogant, condescending, and just plain rude. I'm a guy, I don't need a warm bedside manner to be comfortable, but I do need my privacy in an examination room. "Wrong me once, shame on you, wrong me twice, shame on me." I had a horrible experience there with one of the PA's - she Butchered my arm during a surgery. I will never return! The doctors all gaslighted me by saying "it's not THAT bad". They shouldn't even be having PA's do surgeries, especially if they can't stitch properly. They should have lasered it to correct it, but they only offered microneedling which frankly made it worse. I had other doctors say it was pretty jacked up. Never again! read more

Very disappointed with the whole experience. From initial phone call to after my visit. Had two skin issues removed and they sent me home with a prescription. My wounds continued to bleed. When called to ask questions. I was unable to get the receptionist on the phone. Resolution was I needed to go to my primary doctor for help. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I had a virtual/telemed appointment scheduled for my daughter today, September 12th at 4:45pm. No one in the office will respond to me or send me a link for the appointment. This is extremely disappointing, especially since I had to make my copay in advance. The fact that you eliminated any way to talk to a live person is unprofessional. I want a refund on my copay and will be disputing the charge with my bank. I'll also be looking for a different dermatologist as I have been trying to reach someone in your office for the past 5 hours and no response. I had a dermatologist's appointment for 10:20 AM today, I arrived at 10:12. The waiting room had 5 or 6 people waiting, no seats available with "social distance", but NP. I had, of course, to fill out a "nothing's changed" sheet of paper, a nice young lady (NYL) offered her seat to me, but I declined. I turned paper in before 10:20, a seat became available, I sat down. Patients started getting called. More patients came in, they got called. "NYL" and I are still sitting there at 10:53, she got called a few minutes later. Two guys had come in before "NYL" got called, barely sat down, got called right after "NYL". Then another patient came in, had her paperwork to fill out, she got called, I swear, as she's easing into her seat. I'm now all alone in the waiting area. Sensing that there's something wrong with this scenario, I told the receptionist, "I'll have to reschedule, I'm out of here". She seemed shocked. I won't be back. (I did check my messages and confirmed their text that my appointment was for today, 10/11 at 10:20.) read more

Horrible! When you call you get voice mail, and no one calls you back. The last three visits I had, I had to drive to their office and make the appointments in person. I tried to call to get a refill on a prescription last week and placed 2 calls in. Guess what, no call back. So, I went down there and asked for a refill to be sent to a particular pharmacy. It was not sent in, so I went back to the office the following day and this time I attached a note twice the size of the bottle requesting a refill. That wasn't sent in either. So, the next day, for a third time, I went back and kicked up some dust (that worked) hoping I'll get some results. That triggered an office supervisor who raised her voice finger pointing and threatened me by saying she was a supervisor and that she can have me discharged. A real loony. That supervisor is the one who is responsible for the phone system. Not sure why she felt that was important to say. She offered no help to work with her staff to resolve my issue. Finally, an Office Manager came out and assured me it will get done. I'm looking for a new Dermo now. I highly doubt the doctors are aware of the depth of these issues. I went once and had a good experience. I needed to go back a few months later to have a suspicious spot checked. They left a message the night before canceling my appointment, no reason given. I called right back and got the answering machine. Since then I have left several messages asking them to call so I can reschedule. It's impossible to get a human on the line and they don't return calls. I'm going to look elsewhere. It's a shame because I liked them clinically, but their office staff doesn't do their job. read more

Complete disregard for patients. Would not recommend and will not go back. My 89-year-old father went to this practice for some lesions on his head. The front desk acted as if he was bothering them when he arrived and told him that he didn't have an appointment. He did and he had the paperwork to prove it. As he was leaving he tried to make an appointment for a blue light procedure that was recommended by the Dr. He was told they would call him in 2 weeks. Three weeks later, when he called them they told him he had to fill out paperwork. When he drove there to fill out the paperwork he asked to make the appointment. They said they would call him. Again, several weeks and no call. God bless anyone who has a serious and time-sensitive issue. It's clear that this practice and the professionals who work there do not put the patient first. read more

I will not go back here. I scheduled an appt. for a few mole removals. They are painful as they rub against clothing. I told the receptionist that this was the reason for our visit when we booked the appointment. I drove a half hour there, got there 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork, and waited another 10 minutes after out appt. time to be seen. So I sat in the office for a half hour. Then when we went in for the appt. I was told that on top of my co-pay (yes, they take my insurance), that I had to pay $100 per mole because it was "cosmetic". I told them I didn't care about what it looked like but that it causes discomfort. It still counted as cosmetic. And then we would likely have lab fees on top of that. So what I thought was a $50 visit, could've actually been a $400 visit for 10 minutes with a doctor. I ended up walking out. This lack of communication is unacceptable. This should've been communicated to me BEFORE we showed up. Our last dermatologist didn't give us any of this nonsense. Second complaint--for some reason they need your covid vax status and you have no say in opting out of answering that question. That's not appropriate and also unacceptable. The only good thing I can say is that the girls who saw us initially in the patient room were very kind. However, I don't recommend this center. read more

Rude front staff worker who is more interested in sliding the do not touch glass in your face than completing a sentence.. Checked before appointment that my insurance was accepted was told yes but not told it would be a tier 2 provider charge.. PA I had appointment with was on time and nice but if a patient has a huge surgical scar you don't comment and show it to the help you insist on having in the room. I took a friend to this office. Dr. Nervi is a good doctor, but the receptionist in this office is terrible. When you walk in and go to the window, it is closed. There are negative, downright nasty signs all over the window - DO NOT OPEN THE WINDOW. DO NOT TAP ON THE GLASS. DO NOT do this... DO NOT do that... You have to stand there like a second-class citizen waiting for the "all powerful and all important" receptionist (who sees you but ignores you while she finishes her clerical work and who seems annoyed she has to attend to anyone waiting at the window at all) to recognize you and slide the window open; and then, and only then, you are allowed to speak! It is degrading. It is not a "patient friendly" office. When you come in and see all those awful signs on the glass, you feel unwelcome. You stand there for 10 minutes or more while the receptionist finishes whatever CLERICAL task she is performing. God forbid you should disturb the receptionist, whose job it is to RECEIVE PATIENTS! Someone needs to tell her the patients come first, and it is their money that pays the bills including her salary. If you have to call this office, there are a million prompts you have to listen to and then leave a message! No where is there a prompt "To speak to someone, press zero." If you listen to all these prompts and at the very end press zero, because you are hoping that works, it does work and you do get a live person; but you have to figure this out for yourself. It is NOT stated anywhere on this outgoing message played during business hours when they are open. I have a feeling this receptionist came up with this outgoing message as well. If these doctors are overworking this receptionist and giving her too much to do, which could be the case, then shame on them; but that is still no excuse for allowing her to put up such awful, unwelcoming signs! They should tell her PATIENTS COME FIRST, NOT CLERICAL WORK, AND PATIENTS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT STANDING AT THE WINDOW WAITING 2 B RECOGNIZED FOR 10 MINUTES! And take down those God-awful, negative, "don't do this and don't do that" signs from your glass window when patients walk in! Put up one sign, "Thank you for coming. We'll be right with you." If you would greet patients when they come in, which would be the professional thing to do not to mention the right thing to do and the kind thing to do, they wouldn't have to tap on the glass, slide the window open, or try to speak to you to get your attention after being ignored.
