As a result, my heart scar became raised and red. It also widened. Pretty ugly. I was recommended to Dr Machler's office and was treated initially by Lauren Vittolo who was caring, professional and made me feel so comfortable as she injected my scar to flatten it out. After several treatments my scar was 90% better. Then Dr Machler did a laser treatment which lessened the redness. I am so very please with the result. The office staff is lovely. I had an appointment with Dr. Citron about a month ago and I was treated to one of the best doctor/patient experiences in my over 50 years. Even though her office was busy, Dr. Citron took the time to meet me, understand my medical problem and concerns and treated my condition with much success. I have just made another appointment with Dr. Citron for a full body exam. She is the best dermatologist in her own private practice, not a group factory/mill that so many doctors have joined. You will receive personal, private medical attention that you will never get in one of those large group practices. I was very nervous about visiting a doctor's office during the COVID-19 pandemic. The doctors and…read morestaff at Dermatology Consultants of Northern Jersey made me feel very comfortable in the waiting room and examination room by spacing out patients' appointments, sending the new patient intake forms to me to complete prior to my arrival at the office, removing seating from the small waiting room, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring patients and staff wear adequate personal protective equipment while in the office. Dr. Popkin called me in to see him within a few minutes of my on-time arrival and spent plenty of time with me to evaluate the specific reason for my visit and to perform a thorough exam for other skin issues. After the exam, he explained my options for treatment, answered any questions I had about the treatment, painlessly removed the item in question, and called with the results of the biopsy when he said he would. I will definitely return to Dr. Popkin for any future dermatology issues.

I tried explaining that I've had severe reactions to a number of drugs but he didn't want to hear it and handed me a stack of papers nearly 3/4 inch thick about the drugs he says i should be taking. I personally believe he never reviewed the list of drugs i was currently taking. So my entire double appointment was a commercial. Do what you want but I'd NEVER recommend Randolph Dermatology to anyone. I'd rate them in the negative numbers but this site doesn't allow that.
