I have had lifelong atopic dermatitis. Over the years, I have been seen by many dermatologists. When choosing a doctor, I look for an experienced and smart doctor. After that has been established, I look for a doctor that I can relate to. Is he/she genuine and caring? I have found my ideal dermatologist in Dr. Cheryl Citron. I had an appointment with Dr. Citron about a month ago and I was treated to one of the best doctor/patient experiences in my over 50 years. Even though her office was busy, Dr. Citron took the time to meet me, understand my medical problem and concerns and treated my condition with much success. I have just made another appointment with Dr. Citron for a full body exam. She is the best dermatologist in her own private practice, not a group factory/mill that so many doctors have joined. You will receive personal, private medical attention that you will never get in one of those large group practices. Dr Citron came out of retirement. I was so happy as she is a good doctor. This time I thought her waiting time would improve. My appointment was at 11:15. At 12:45 I went to her staff and I asked how much longer - they there are 2 more people ahead of me. This is unacceptable. read more

Dr. Citron would only choose the best PAs! Wendy Cheung, her physician assistant (PA) is amazing! You can sense the care and compassion she has in her job for taking care of others. She listens incredibly well and explains things so you can understand them. She is thorough, and kind in her investigation into my issues. My visit to Dr Citron was by far the best dermatology appt I've ever had. First the office was pretty much on schedule - even at 4 in the afternoon! The doctor was able to quickly diagnose my issues. She took the time to discuss various treatments with information on what she learned from conferences and her own experience. Dr Citron was very knowledgeable and professional. My First and only time seeing her. Had a allergic reaction to the medication she put me on(I understand it's not her fault) the problem was when I called the office 3x - you can understand my frustration.. for them To hang up on me 3rd time calling..I called right back and and the girl goes please hold. The doctor gets on and tried to calm Me down and had the nerve to ask me if I cursed at her staff and that's why they hung up?! I did not! But I wanted to say and if I did?? I had to call your office 3x for you then to tell me you never received message one?!! Then tried to tell me in all her 30 yrs she has never seen a reaction as This and asked me if it's something new I'm using like my nail products?! Are u kidding me! I take NO meds and am healthy I start 4 new meds and out of nowhere have a reaction. And when you look up side effects for the one I was on.. one of the first is the exact reaction is had! Terrible poorly run office and I don't care how long you have been in practice...do better! Be better! read more

I made an appointment a month in advance to be seen specifically by Dr. Cheryl Citron. I had to take the morning off from work and miss a class (in law school) in order to attend my appointment. The morning of, I called the office to let them know I was on my way since no one had called the day before to confirm. I was told that the doctor did not come in until 11:30am and that I would need to come back then if I still wanted to be seen. The receptionist explained that they had tried to contact me a few days earlier to let me know but my mailbox was full. Still, most (if not all) offices call the day before again to confirm which is what they should have done being that they "couldn't get in touch" with me the week before. The receptionist was friendly and was never disrespectful. However, I find it to be very irresponsible of the office and the doctor running her practice. Not only did I have to drive 40 minutes to the office. I also had to lose money by not going to work and lose a day of class. read more

My husband and I had an appointment with Dr. Citron and I have to say we love her and her bed side manner. Loved the staff very professional and straight to the point. The office is nice and comfy and so clean which I love. We would definitely recommend her to any of our friends and or family. read more

Love the office staff...like the doctor. She is always running about an hour late and she only spends a minimum amount of time with the patient. However, she is very good at what she does(Botox) so I always go back. More expensive than other local Drs, but I'd rather pay more than take a gamble with my face. read more

WOW - What a great experience! Dr. Cheryl Citron is by far the Best Dermatologist that I have ever seen. Her staff could not have been more kind and professional. Dr. Citron is a caring, personable and a highly experienced dermatologist who's main goal is to exceed her patient's expectations - she certainly exceeded mine! I had to wait over a month to get an appointment with Dr. Citron. Finally the day arrived and I left without ever seeing the dr. By mistake my referral had the wrong insurance ID # on it and the office staff would not let me see her. They were extremely rude, and belligerent and made no effort at all to see if there was a way for me to be seen. Even after asking if I could be seen and then get the proper referral tomorrow they refused. I have never seen less helpful or accommodating office staff. If this is who Dr. Citron hires to greet her new patients I have to wonder about the rest of the office. Not only will I not go back, I will tell everyone I know not to see her. If she starts losing patients, she should look to her office and will know why. read more

Dr. Citron and her staff were very helpful when I came in to see them. Having an issue with my insurance, they were helpful and communicated with me to ensure everything was handled and taken care of. Dr. Citron was very informative and made me feel at ease when it came to my skin care and any issues I wanted to discuss.
