A full 5 stars for Progressive Health & Rehab! Dr. Tony (chiro), Dr. Glenn (chiro and neurology),…read moreDr. Drew (PT), Mario (PT therapist), and all the rest of the staff are top notch. Very competent, skilled, knowledgeable, committed, helpful, friendly, and results oriented. You could't ask for better. Through their care I have gotten my life back. No exaggeration. I have a long standing spinal condition called spondylolisthesis--one of my lower vertebrae (L5) is pushed forward pressing on nerves and causing a great deal of pain. The one just above it (L4) is fractured. About a year ago for some unknown reason, the pain got much worse. I could hardly move without pain or even get out of my chair. I could barely walk. I had seen an orthopedic surgeon at OSU a decade before. He had only offered surgery as a solution and wasn't optimistic about the outcome. After doing a lot of searching and comparing of chiropractors in the Columbus area, I settled on Progressive. Dr. Glenn and Dr. Tony took x-rays, examined me, and set out a course of treatment. Dr. Glenn gave me his "Attila The Hun" lecture about what I could and could not do physically in the future so I didn't mess up all their hard work. (I guess I'm not immortal after all. ;-) ) A month of three adjustments a week and the pain was greatly reduced. Another two months twice a week and I was feeling good most of the time. Since then (nine months), I've been sticking to the twice a week adjustments. I can screw things up a little by, say, doing too much yard work. Another adjustment will bring my back into comfortable allignment again. I highly recommend Progressive Health & Rehab to anyone who has an orthopedic problem which might be helped by chiropractic care. Their fees are quite reasonable and they take lots of insurance. If you have spondylo like I do, definitely give them a try before you let anyone cut your back open.

I worked with NovaCare years ago, but wasn't a member of Yelp at the time. Now that I've been…read moreassigned to them again, it's my pleasure to tell you about them. In the past, they were extremely pleasant, patient and encouraging to me as I was recovering from a knee injury. Yesterday was my first time visiting their new location and I entered feeling optimistic. Christina at the front desk had already been kind enough to email me the paperwork to help expedite my processing upon arrival. When I entered, she greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile and got me set up in no time (even though I had failed to bring in the paperwork). As I was finishing the final forms, I was approached by Physical Therapist Jaime, who was all set up and ready to go. She offered to get me started and save the remaining paperwork until after we were finished. I was under the impression that I would just have a counseling session and tour of the facility. Nope! She took me to a private room, discussed my history and pain levels, conducted measurements and then ran me through a series of preliminary exercises to assess my abilities. I'm glad I was swearing sweat apparel! We hit it off immediately and I quickly felt better about the fact that I was to rehab my back, shoulder and knee at the same time (due to an accident). After we finished, we toured the remainder of the facility and spent some time at the half-pool, the primary location for my coming sessions. She seemed quite eager to work with me and made me feel great about being there. Back at the front desk, there were very accommodating, considering that I had a hectic schedule and was playing chauffeur to two of my sons for the coming weeks. I start next week and I tell you, I have no reservations. I'm looking forward to the pain in hopes and getting it all back together again, and soon! If you get by there, as always, be sure to "tell 'em Kenny sent ya"!

Ohio Health--you've made a fan out of me…read more Great customer service (or in this case, patient care) isn't how you handle yourself when things go right; it's how you recover when they go wrong. In my case, things went very wrong, and Ohio Health handled the situation perfectly. I won't recount my original review (you can read the terrible experience below), but let's just say I did not receive the treatment I expected. I sent out one tweet about my experience, and Ohio Health was *on* it. Seriously, these people have their act together. Let me tell you what transpired next... 1. I received a public tweet within one hour to apologize and to find out more about the situation. Their social media person and I DM'd back and forth, and she scheduled a time for me to get a call the next day. 2. Deb Kuntz (the Director of Quality & Outcomes Management) called me to apologize and to find out more about my situation. Deb does her job flawlessly. She was gracious, humble, and caring. I could easily tell she was genuinely concerned for my health--and not just removing my bad Yelp review. She knew i really liked my PT, so she was determined to get me back to this particular office again. She promised she'd follow up with me the next day...and she did. 3. Deb actually called me every day or every other day until I was able to get re-scheduled for therapy. She was clear with every step of the process. She knew it would be uncomfortable for me to go back to the office if the offending employee was also there, so she jumped through hoops to help make me feel okay about returning. 4. Ed, the Office Manager (I think that's his title, and I forgot his last name), called me a few days later to apologize and to help me get re-scheduled. He was very kind and caring. 5. I finally showed back up for therapy, and of course it was awkward, but they really did everything possible to lessen the awkwardness. At the end of my appointment, Ed asked to chat with me for a minute--he wanted to make sure everything was okay. And now, I am back in therapy and well on my way to getting my feet back in action. I am extremely grateful that Ohio Health acted quickly to fix my issue. The way they handled themselves has definitely earned a fan in me!

I was directed to this location by our health insurance helper - who locates services and prices…read moreand benefits to maximize the value. In the past, I had worked with another location. This one, however, is super convenient to my home (the other was by a former work location). All my experience here has been during COVID, so I can only speak to their practices during this time - and suffice it to say, I am quite comfortable coming here. They are 100% masks all the time, screen everyone with temps, sanitize everything and so on. I am very conservative and will only go places I feel safe. So I was referred here for PT on my shoulder - chronic shoulder pain from yoga every day. It didn't impede by practice too much - but it wasn't getting better - only worse. There are 3 regular ladies working there - a PT, asst PT and office person. They also usually have interns working. I was assessed the first time (am attending a 2nd time for different injury) by an intern with close PT oversight. An 8 session planned was laid out and I came for PT 2 x week. I generally worked with the same people, doing the same exercises, adding new ones and taught a few to do at home. After the 1st 8 sessions, I saw improvement and opted for 8 more sessions. I was confident that the therapy was helping, that these ladies knew what they were doing, and I enjoyed working with them. At the end of the 16 sessions, there was improvement but still impairment. I returned to my doc and she administered a cortisone shot. And over the next week or two, the remaining problem went away. 100% recovery. After a few weeks passed, I decided to return for more PT - to work on a different injury that I first sought treatment for in 2016. I went through PT, chiropractic therapy, massage, acupuncture and cupping. Nothing helped. I gave up before I spent lots more $$ on experimental treatment not covered by insurance. I had my assessment last week and have already begun the at-home exercises. First session is tomorrow and I'm moderately hopeful that I'll see improvement. What's the worst that could happen: I've already maxed my out-of-pocket payments, so no new cost to me but time.

He is very professional, kind, knowledgeable and excellent in gearing my physical therepy to my specific needs. I had gone to Mt Carmel East prior to going to Chris. If anyone needs physical therepy I strongly recommend going to Nova Care and working with Chris, you won't be wasting your time as he really knows what he is doing! Ten stars to him!
