Where they still have offices in Gahanna I primarily come here now. I see Dr Anthony (podiatry) and Dr Albrecta.(sports medicine) My sons both see Dr Jonesco.(orthopedics) we have had nothing but excellent experiences with each mentioned doctor and highly recommend. Today I was in for an on going achilles issue that Dr Albrechta is managing very well. I was in about a month ago where he prescribed a brace, PT and a topical. Im that patient that of course didnt fully follow doctors orders with continuing to use that medicine, so obviously.... Im back- as it still hurts. Not the doctors fault.... Totally mine. I did use the brace he recommended and diligently did PT, so it has improved considerably- but now I realize the importance of the medicine. So we are trying that for 6 weeks. Its healing better than I expected Fingers crossed this trend continues. Thanks doc! Highly recommend this practice!

He did the surgery on my left knee. And it had to have a screw put in, also. I saw him today for my 4 week checkup, it was all smiles and laughs. Oh what a wonderful feeling to know that your x-rays show that your implant is fine! And you're healing, progressing ahead of schedule. I know this is because of prayer! He said that the I could have surgery on my right knee as soon as a couple weeks. I know God uses doctors to heal. This man is amazing! I couldn't help but tell him " I love you" before I left. I'm…read morevery specific when I give my insurances on how they were billed etc. On July 14, 2023 and again on July 24,2023 I stopped into their billing office and told them if they billed correctly I should not receive a bill because Tricare for Life is a wrap around for Medicare and whatever Medicare doesn't cover Tricare for Life covers 100%. When Tricare for Life is billed either correctly or incorrectly I get notified staying they covered xyz amount or they state due to x probably they didn't pay and I'm not responsible for the bill because of their error. ortho one states I owe $283.61 and never billed Tricare for Life and since we're now rolling into 3 years after the fact----Tricare for Life will probably tell them to go kick rocks. I have NEVER received any correspondence about this from Tricare for Life which means they didn't bill. What's sad is these places are notorious for partial billing and sticking the patient with what's left over-----why accept $75 from Tricare when I can bill the patient for a higher amount of $284.61 I've explained it to them repeatedly and yet they still have not billed Tricare for life and yes they accept Tricare for life. Sad really. I currently have a text stating I owe $284.61 and it's their error not mine

I had been receiving less than satisfactory treatment with physicians in Columbus (no name-dropping here) and needed someone who could meet my needs and be straight-forward with me. After meeting Dr. D'Onofrio, he took one look at my medical history and recent tests and simply asked, "When do you want to get this done?" That was it. No more cortisone shots or minor surgeries. He told me that my knee was beyond preventive treatment and needed replacement. True, one would think that a salesman's only interest is "selling the car", but after breaking down everything that was wrong with my knee, he convinced me that I was prolonging the inevitable with all of these procedures. The surgery went extremely well, as well as the follow-up with his PA, Kevin, who is truly awesome. The care I received during my recovery made my trip to wellness a short and efficient one. I loved their treatment so much that I chose them for my other knee replacement surgery 3 years later, which went just as well. So I'm going to name these two (the center AND the ortho) specifically in my recommendations if you need knee or hip replacement surgery. You can't go wrong.

So I came here and Dr. Munweller has helped treat my gout situation for the 2 years. I haven't had a flare up since. I've been a patient of Dr. D'onofrio's for several years now and love him…read more He conducted and psychologically helped me through my first knee replacement surgery a few years ago and my quality of life is significantly better as a result. Prior to seeing him, my previous doctor put me through a series of preventive procedures that only delayed the inevitable. I appreciate what they tried to do, but I went through years of discomfort that, I felt, could and should have been avoided. After my doctor moved to a different medical group, I saw Dr. D'onofrio at my family doctor's recommendation. This man is awesome! I had researched his record and he is well-respected amidst his peers and among his former patients. Prior to the procedure, he even had me attend an education (and supportive session) with other knee and hip replacement patients, which made me feel more at ease. During our conversation(s) he promised me that he would have me on my feet, the same day as the surgery! He wasn't lying. I was up and around and beginning my new life (as "RoboPop", as my kids call me) in no time. I was out of the hospital in no time, too. My follow-up visits between him and his assistant, Kevin were all great with exceptional customer service and even better recuperative treatment. Today, I had to go back for my consult for the other knee replacement, which we originally decided to delay. It was great to see him again and a comfort to know that he remembered my case very well. Unfortunately, I have to take some weight off before the next procedure, but my reservations are gone and I'm ready to get myself back to a state where I can exercise and live comfortably. If you need an orthopedic surgeon who is professional and caring, although in Lancaster, this is definitely the man to see!
