I had been receiving less than satisfactory treatment with physicians in Columbus (no name-dropping here) and needed someone who could meet my needs and be straight-forward with me. After meeting Dr. D'Onofrio, he took one look at my medical history and recent tests and simply asked, "When do you want to get this done?" That was it. No more cortisone shots or minor surgeries. He told me that my knee was beyond preventive treatment and needed replacement. True, one would think that a salesman's only interest is "selling the car", but after breaking down everything that was wrong with my knee, he convinced me that I was prolonging the inevitable with all of these procedures. The surgery went extremely well, as well as the follow-up with his PA, Kevin, who is truly awesome. The care I received during my recovery made my trip to wellness a short and efficient one. I loved their treatment so much that I chose them for my other knee replacement surgery 3 years later, which went just as well. So I'm going to name these two (the center AND the ortho) specifically in my recommendations if you need knee or hip replacement surgery. You can't go wrong.

First, the staff is really great - nice people who are fun to talk to, and can answer all my questions. If they don't know an answer, they will find it then and there. The office environment is nice too - they use ambient music and aromatherapy to provide a calming atmosphere. Dr. Bryan is really special, and is the main reason I'm loyal to Capital City Chiropractic. He's interested in my overall well-being, as well as the problems I have with my back, hips and knees. Seems to know his stuff. in 2009, after many failed attempts at different treatments and physical therapy, I was left to get surgery for planters fasciitis. Still some soreness in my feet. The surgery didn't cure all. But, I will add, Dr Zoog did mention that some people, not all, will be 100% better. Guess I'm in the minority. I still do recommend FFP to friends and family, however. Last year they got pushed a month before I could get them, which I had to schedule 3 months out. This time I tried to follow up knowing they don't do what they are supposed to. It was denied because they didn't put the necessary information in the notes. Called to ask about it when I recieved the denial letter. Was told I would get a call back. Had to send a message through my chart to get a nurse that can answer my questions to respond on my chart. Was told an appeal was being filed. Called my insurance the next week to follow up on the appeal. Turns out they never filed it. Had to message on mychart again to get anyone to respond. Got a call back from the case manager telling me it is out of compliance for filing an appeal and they waited too long to do it. She has to call the insurance to see how to handle it at this point. Tried to follow up on it. The nurse transfered me to billing mid sentence while talking to her. Started to tell the person at billing what was going on and she hung up on me. Needless to say, I'm finding a new office. Also, Dr Anand barely spends 5 minutes in the room with you. When you go to try to ask a question he is already half way out the door.​
