My experience hopefully doesn't represent the rest of the staff at this office as the front staff was awesome, the staff doing testing was great but my Dr., Dr. Ahuja was dismissive and didn't do a good job explaining testing AND he orginally didn't even bring the pulmonary test IN to the exam until I asked him to so I can review it with him. When we reviewed it he only focused on a few spots and left out areas on my testing which were 26 percent of predicted amount. I didn't notice this till after I left the office. I called the office back minutes after leaving and spoke to his medical assistant who also stated that its odd that the 26 percent of predicted was not explained or discussed. She called back and said that the Doctor is done explaining the testing and I am welcome to go someone where else for a second opinion. Please see a different doctor at this location. calling back and asking for an explanation on a 26 percent of predicted and then being blown off by being told to go somewhere else is unbelievable customer service and probably doesn't represent the whole company but he works for them. Showing up to an appointment to review results with NO results in front of me is a red flag. Then when I asked about going over them with him and him only focuses on 3 parameters was also a bit odd as he constantly redirected me back to 3 parameters. When asked over the phone once I left about 26 percent of predicted to be told he wouldn't answer, and I can go somewhere else as he is done explaining is rude and unprofessional. Please go somewhere else customers. This is not a place I would recommend sadly. I hear there are better doctors at this location and unfortunately I must have got the one who's available because of his poor bedside manner. Really sad.

They moved from Pasadena to Duarte a couple of years ago. Their office here is also a sleep lab, and it should be quite convenient to schedule a test here. (I did mine back when they were in Pasadena.) The above is a typical yelp review, but the most important thing here is that Dr. Young saved me! Two years ago, Dr. Young diagnosed my sleep apnea, and prescribed the right treatment for me (CPAP). My health improved dramatically, and as a consequence life has become fun again. If you are reading this review, then most probably you have some sleep problems. Don't wait! Get some treatment!

I work with medical professionals as well and these physicians are few and far between. He is very current on what is new in the market as well as an excellent diagnositic physician. He is wary of infections and makes sure you are prepared for any emergency situations that may arise. He is an amazing physician and we are blessed to have him as ours.

At my first appointment, Dr. Ishaaya did an initial evaluation and explained that I would need additional testing. We scheduled a follow-up appointment that was supposed to be the more extensive visit where I would complete multiple tests and get a better understanding of what was going on. When I called the office beforehand, I specifically asked how long the appointment would take and was told approximately two hours because of the number of tests that would be performed. After going through the scheduling process and insurance approvals, I arrived for my second appointment expecting that evaluation. Instead, I completed one allergy test and two breathing tests. Then I was asked whether I had already completed the more detailed CT scan. I explained that I had not because I understood that the testing and evaluation were what I was coming in for that day. I was then told I would need to schedule that separately. I left after about 50 minutes with no answers. My previous CT results, which I had brought in, were not reviewed or discussed in any meaningful way. My atelectasis was never addressed, and I did not receive any explanation of what it could mean or what the next steps should be. The appointment ended with me being asked whether I wanted a prescription for a histamine medication or paperwork to go get the scan. After two visits with a pulmonologist, I expected a clearer understanding of my condition and a plan moving forward. Instead, I left feeling like I had spent significant time, gone through unnecessary scheduling steps, and paid a copay without receiving the evaluation or guidance I was seeking. The communication from the office about what would actually happen during the appointment was also very unclear.
