My hairstylist was named Tim! I got a haircut and a digital perm and I'm really happy with the results! I was attracted to this place when I found out that you could customize your latte art! You can do…read moreso either by downloading their app and sending them a picture that they'll "print" onto your drink or you can just order your beverage and they'll surprised you with some latte art (like our marshmallow friend in the pictures here). The mocha we ordered was delicious, adequate in chocolate notes paired with espresso. I want to say that the drinks were the highlight of my experience here. They have a few special menu items, like the unagi pizza - which I found was not the best in terms of taste. I can't pick out exactly what it is, but something on there wasn't to my liking. Either way, interesting menu item to try. To finish off, I ordered some cotton candy for my sister. I was disappointed that they said they ran out of the paper cones/sticks for the cotton candy, so they offered it to me in brown paper bags. Parking is alright as well in the plaza, since there's a lot else within.

(Overall:) There are a lot of things on the menu to try that are unconventional. There are printed coffees (where you can add your face to the coffee! This is my absolute favourite place to be when it comes to hair styling and just simple cuts. I…read moredon't think I've ever been to any place that's better. My stylist is Andy and he's been great to me and my hair. I came in at the recommendation of a friend who said this place was good, a vague description of a salon considering most places I've been to were either mediocre, pricey, or a combination of both. Hair wash: I'd rate it 10/5 if I could, it's just that good. They make sure to massage your neck after massaging your scalp multiple of times. It's so relaxing and the service makes the experience extraordinary. Cut: Andy is so detailed when it comes to just a simple trim. Nothing was rushed and he was very helpful with my clueless desire for a vague cut. The products they use are all the best of the best. Service: So great!! They served my mom and I tea for the wait, and they were super nice about everything. Atmosphere: Classy and top notch, professional. Expect nothing less! Price: $38! So great for what you get. Definitely recommend.

I have very long here and I want to do a shoulder length cut that's quite drastic from what I'm used to. I showed some pictures to help explain what I want the end result to be. Raymond was my stylist and after listening to what I want, he gave me a few advices before proceeding with the cut. He explained that the end will flair out and that it would look better with non-collar shirts. I really appreciate that he took the time to make sure I'm aware of these things. I got there at 3:30pm and ended up leaving at 5:15pm. I can really tell that they really spend the time, pay a lot of attention to detail and put forth a lot of effort in the cut.

My hair inspiration was an ash blond balayage. What I got was an uneven, brassy tiger (my worst…read morenightmare) and my already thin hair is now super thinned out because of my stylist, Sonny's attempt to fix the botched up colouring. Just take a look at the pictures. I'm not the type to be picky about my hair as long as it looks somewhat similar to a picture I show, but WOW this is surprisingly the worst experience I've had at a hair salon despite the decent reviews. Also have to mention how Yin managed to give me attitude despite not even being my stylist. She seems nice to clients she knows, but not sure about new clients! She complained in front of me to my stylist about the price he was charging for such an awful job, then checked me out. She took my money, took forever to fork out change, then just takes it back without confirming if it was a tip I was leaving first. Not a word at all to me during this entire time. Customer service? I think not! I was charged $185 in exchange for such an atrocious job and had originally scheduled a second appointment to touch up the roots; however, after seeing my own pictures, I simply cannot return. Have to go spend another $200 somewhere else to fix this btw! Yay!!

I go to Peter and he will always be my go-to. He gives you insight on the condition of your hair, what kind of products you should use, and teaches you how to style your own hair at home to make it easy for you to upkeep. He also recommended styles that fit with my hair's texture and length, and what looks best for my face. I like that they also don't oversell you on the products they use - they know the products they have are on the more expensive side.
