I was shocked to find here in DFW the infrequency of whole-health model practitioners, given the abundance of medical providers. From my first call and conversation with Joy, Dr L's assistant, I have been impressed. Joy was responsive, personable, followed up as promised, talked to Dr. L for me although I had not met either of them, and the two of them did their best to help me find needed resources. Soon thereafter I needed an exam, and I already knew this was THE doctor I trust, practicing the wellness model that has kept my family mostly free of illness and disease for decades! Dr. L is DELIGHTFUL, as both a doctor and a person. My visit didn't feel like "going to the doctor." Even the exam room looks and feels like a beautiful office space; it's amazing how at-ease you will feel due to the environment. The TIME she takes to ask detailed questions will amaze you. She is truly listening, it is a pleasant CONVERSATION, not an inquisition! Her understanding and respect for the wisdom of our bodies and ourselves is obvious. As opposed to the aging model of doctor knowing all and patient just waiting for the verdict, Dr L is our knowledgeable, experienced guide and partner in our wellness. After reading reviews from medical websites, I chose to go with Dr. Fleming at PWHC. I'm over halfway through my pregnancy and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The staff is incredible! Everyone is extremely attentive. Dr. Fleming's nurse always returns my calls timely and takes my concerns seriously, even if the solution is just a little reassurance. The office is really nice, well maintained and very clean. I had a lot of worries and concerns during the beginning of my pregnancy following a MC and Dr. Fleming truly listened and helped take extra precautions to get me through the first trimester and to monitor me more closely. He has an excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend WPHC - as the entire team and office staff are a dream team. I was in pain during an exam and she did not even ask or offer me medication or alternatives, she diagnosed me with a polyp and told me for months it will resolve on its own, let's just watch it. I went to a new doctor who was able to remove it with medication upon initial exam and resolve my issue. I was also put on two rounds of antibiotics for no reason. She does not have the best bedside manners and she was busy dealing with her own post-surgery, so it seems she just wanted me to waste more of my money and time until she was better. Do not recommend.

I won't get into much detail here except that I had a medical issue that an ER (not Dallas Medical Center) had looked at but told me was not a big deal. I went to Dr. Braun about a week after that for a routine checkup. He identified the issue immediately and told me that it was possibly serious, sent me for a diagnostic ultrasound that day, and conducted my surgery that weekend. I am forever grateful to him. He took me seriously from day 1, which is something that I think many doctors struggle with. I really believe that Dr. Braun saved my life.

She connects with you and truly cares about you. I feel like she's part of my family now. I will always go to her and recommend her. You can always count on her giving you her best ! I wish more people were like her in this world . She had a lot of concerns through my pregnancy , It wasn't easy. To begin with... There was scares with my blood labs which ended up fine after doing an amniocentesis test. Shortly after , at 18 weeks Dr Walsh found that my cervix weakened due to a Leap Procedure I had done for cancer cells. Dr. Walsh did a Cerclage on me and unfortunately I was then put on strict bedrest. Going to our weekly sonograms, we went through many scares. One was so bad.. My cervix shortened so much that I was put into hospital for a week. When I was 35 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I find out that it is about to be the most important day of my life... Dr Walsh told me I needed an emergency c-section due to a calcifying placenta ... I asked her "Can we do it tomorrow, so I can register this? I'm not ready to be a mom today." She responded so perfectly." You have been a mom this whole time. She made it this far because of you!" - And here we are! Because of us..all of us. She not only has provided me with education with every issue I faced, but also allowed me to make decisions based on a full understanding of all of my options. She's not just an OBGYN, she's a caring provider who wants to look at the patient as a whole. She treats you with respect. Rarely I find a DR that truly listens when a patient is telling them what is going on. Dr Walsh does. It means a lot to have a DR validate what you're experiencing and give you answers as to why you're experiencing it. This is who she is. If you're experiencing due to stress, she'll tell you, but if it's something that needs to be examined, you better bet she'll examine it. I can't say enough good things.
