I've had some mental health issues for as long as I can remember, and during my last pregnancy I struggled with it a lot. Working with Dr. Thompson was completely different. She took my mental health into serious consideration and made sure I knew how important it was for me to take care of that as well as my physical health. She is also the reason why I started seeing a therapist; as she heavily recommended it at the beginning of the pregnancy and that on top of my medicine management made the whole experience so much healthier mentally than my first pregnancy. I absolutely love Dr. Thompson and I'm excited to have her as my OB/GYN for years to come! Also, her nurse was incredible as well! Deliana (not sure how to spell her name, hopefully I got that right! My doctor is Dr. Michelle Heintges and I can't say enough great things about her! She takes the time to get to know you and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and understood. I prepare my questions in advance of each appointment we've discussed my birth preferences throughout the entire pregnancy. Parking for each appointment has been easy & although my husband cannot go to each full appointment (due to COVID regulations), he has been welcome (after temp checks and waiting in a separate area) at each ultrasound.

Info for their next patients:…read more Need to share this after I finally talked to the doctor (Gupta) and the nurse practitioner (Mahnaz) today a week after the miscarriage. 1) I signed up for the OB I chose (Gupta). But Gupta told me she wasn't involved in any data checking or appointment decision making until I went to ER. She said it was all on the nurse practitioner. - What?! Why?! She said it was strange I was scheduled at week 11. It's usually week 8. - Whose responsibility?! Who's bearing the consequences? I asked her how I know if there was ever a fetal pole or not, she said "ya we don't know." 2) the nurse practitioner, Mahnaz, just kept telling me even an earlier sonogram wouldn't make any change to the result. - what about the data for me to know what actually happened? And she just did what every OB would do. - without asking her OB? She told me she didn't know I tried to make an earlier appointment. It was all the front desk girl. - Seriously?! At the end, she just told me "I need to go to see my patient. You can talk to the office manager because you and I are not getting anywhere!" Next thing I knew, she slammed the door and left me in the room by myself. - What a jerk! It hurts like so many bad words. I'm surprised she does this for living. She should be fired. 3) If you want to get their attention, consider to share your experience here, they will call you right away. ---- Worst experience! No matter how much I told the NP, Mahnaz, after I signed up to Gupta about my advanced age and my last miscarriage which was within a year, the NP just gave me very broad info intake and 2 blood work in week 5. I had to be the one to request for blood work in week 6 when I saw my HCG wasn't doubling. No more blood work scheduled till the miscarriage. My first sonogram was scheduled at week 11. - Ridiculous! I called and requested a few times to have an earlier sonogram. I was told the Dr said it's not necessary!!! I feel very dismissed from this place on me or whatever risk I am going through. One star bc there's no zero star option. Just know that all the negative reviews here and on Google are not coincidence.

His Frisco staff is super friendly and efficient. I never waited longer than 5 minutes. And keep in mind he delivers many babies multiple times a day. Also I was informed up front of the cost which was very good and luckily thanks to my insurance too im sure. Anyways delivering here was so much cheaper than in San Francisco, like 5 times cheaper ! The maps were confusing on what the location was because they are near a bunch of other offices. I finally found the plaza and was waiting for 5 minutes for the elevator because it wasn't working. I can't take the stairs because I just hurt my knee. Aside from the fact that they aren't shown on the digital display downstairs yet, their office is around a corner and not easily visible. I got a text at 9:56 saying I missed my 9:45 appointment, even though it hasn't gone past the 15 minute grace period they've ALWAYS had in place for years. I walk in not even one minute later apologizing for being late and explain I couldn't find their office. (Which by the way, aside from their address, they provided no explanation or insight as to where the new location was, not even when I scheduled on the phone and I didn't know to ask because I thought it was going to be an external building like it was before.) The receptionist tells me that because I am late, I need to reschedule my appointment. I ask why if it hasn't been even fifteen minutes yet, let alone past the fifteen minutes. She says she knows but they have no wiggle room because they are booked. But the fifteen minutes is the wiggle room? So I dont understand. I live in McKinney and have to take tolls to get here. I just wasted PTO, time, money, and gas. I have been coming here for THIRTEEN years. I have referred plenty friends and family, who are still patients of theirs. I didn't recognize this receptionist because she is not who I usually see, so she must be new since I last came a year ago, or a different staff member that wasn't usually the receptionist. I say this because the usual receptionist was always very kind to me and warm and enthusiastic, which this one was not. I have never been late or missed an appointment or cancelled/no showed in those thirteen years and have always given plenty notice to reschedule, except for maybe once or twice when I started my period the day of and they asked me to reschedule because it would interfere with the pap smear results, and even then I called first thing in the morning to ask what I should do. I'm extremely upset. There was not a single person there or waiting, and no next appointment had arrived, so it makes no sense why I couldn't be taken back if they have my insurance. ID, and pre check in paper work on file. There was absolutely no reason why I couldn't have been taken back, ESPECIALLY since I was within the grace period. It is so upsetting and disappointing that the management is willing to lose a patient over 11 minutes. She had already decided before I even walked in that I had missed my appointment. At the TEN minute mark. She didn't bother asking a nurse or checking with the doctor, or seeing what she could do. Not ONCE. Mind you over the last thirteen years, Dr. Fong has run late because of deliveries, emergency appointments, and other issues and not once have I EVER complained or rushed them. I have been patient. It is such a shame because I love my doctor so much and I hate having to end a relationship of thirteen years with him due to poor, un empathetic staff. I used to rave about this office for years and have left reviews years after years. Well now Doctor Fong, because of your receptionist, not only have you lost one patient, but you will be losing several others as well. I will be informing every single family and friend I have referred to longer come to this office. Please do not come here anymore, they seem to not care about their patients anymore or care about wasted time. I even explained to her I had already taken time off when she asked if I could come in Friday instead, and she still did not care. We will take our business elsewhere. My experience with OBGYNs had always been kinda iffy previously, and I'd never held one that I went to consistently because they made me feel uncomfortable or like they didn't actually care about my problems. Dr. Sigman was the total opposite! From the first time I went in, she listened to concerns I had and went through the steps of ruling everything out with testing. An unfortunate experience a lot of women have is their doctors not taking them seriously and dismissing their concerns, but Dr. Sigman has proven that she is not only willing to listen, but willing to go the extra step to ease your conscience. I've done everything from a yearly checkup to bloodwork to an IUD insertion with her. Each went smoothly and I never once felt like she was rushing. I highly recommend Dr. Sigman to anyone in need of OBGYN services!

She also commented on the size of my chest - asking if I had back problems.............gee thanks and NO 5. Lastly....she told me I needed to lose weight to help with getting pregnant. I'm a voluptuous lady, but women much larger than me have gotten pregnant and had successful deliveries.
