The objective of the project was to find and create more space within the existing footprint, update and upgrade our room space and the quality of materials, and lastly to create a new custom look within the home, so it would last us for many years to come. The first and most critical phase of the project was to make sure that the existing house bones could withstand the additional loads of adding a new floor to an existing structure. Levi and his team were extremely thorough, they took time to understand our wants, wishlists, and needs. They drew it all out for us so we could clearly see the changes. When it came time for demolition, framing and building the new structures - this process went very quickly - and all the new built items exceeded my expectation in terms of the quality used - as well as the specs it was built to. Additionally, Levi and his team found many existing issues with our building - that he went above and beyond to correct them while we had openings in all our walls. Levi always served as a voice of guidance, a regulation rule follower, and treated our house like it was his own. Nor corners were cut, no shortcuts were made. The best part of the project was that it was completed within the budget and on time - and in this market that is a truly remarkable accomplishment.

This year I was a victim of the Braes Bayou flood. So I called Legal Eagle again. Turns out they are experts at flood restoration too. It took a couple of months between drying, ordering, construction, etc. to get it all done. And at the same time I decided to take advantage of their expertise. In addition to the restoration, I had them put in both a built-in entertainment center in the living room and a built-in desk in the living room. (I will try and post a picture or 2) Their workers are terrific. Very skilled and never leave a mess. These people are highly recommended. Dan Bawden and Enrique Sifuentes are both great. They spent a great amount of time helping plan everything and they made sure I understood what was happening along the way.

He came on-site to give me an estimate and started working on some of the smaller handyman jobs such as adding my cabinet and drawer handle pulls, swapping out my master bathroom shower head for a shower head with a wand. He also hung four paintings/artwork for me. He even repaired one of my drawers that were installed incorrectly. I didn't even know it but it was greatly appreciated. I plan to get more work done under him. He diagnosed the issue, determined the supply line that needed replacement and went straight to work. He cleaned the interior to ensure no mold would form, removed the wet drywall that I missed, replaced it, and painted & finished. By the end of the evening, my wall was as good as new. I also researched pricing with my co-workers beforehand (who were in the construction industry and certified in Xactimate) and he was right within the ballpark on pricing for labor and material.
