I could not wait to write this review for so many reasons. Initially Frank came off as an extremely professional guy. When I brought it to his attention that his bid was far over that of other local painters he came down on his price. However, I did not end up contracting with him in the end. Things happen, people underbid others and sometimes you just don't get the job. I called him back to ask him to bid the interior of my house. He went back and promptly did just that. Again, his bid came back WAY over another local painting contractor. When I made him aware of that he told me he had already gone out of his way for me and that he would not budge on the price and hung up on me mid conversation. When I texted him to ask him if he had hung up on me he texted me back and said that he couldn't talk because he was driving. I found that odd because while he couldn't talk, he could text?! At that point I was willing to accept his bid no matter how inflated due to the fact that I was in a time crunch and needed to get my house listed. So I sent him a text with my paint colors and asked him if he was still planning on starting in the morning and got NO response. Later that evening I sent him another text to ask him to let me know if he was going to start my job. Again, nothing. Now, I can certainly understand not wanting to work with a client, but to not respond to them what so ever... That's what got me. This speaks to his character and in the end I am so thankful that I did not contract with him as this is a true indication of how he treats his clients. read more
