I'm a stereotypical Virgo, seriously verging on obsessive-compulsive, and to say I'm not easy to please when it comes to this sort of thing would be an understatement of massive proportions. They've got me walking around burbling, making little happy noises, and saying "I love it!" over and over again! There are bits and spots that made me crazy before, and now I can't even find them! - Floyd was very up front and clear about exactly what was going to cost what, and why. Ended up giving us a bill that actually made me feel bad we weren't paying him more. That doesn't exactly happen every day. - To say he met his deadline just doesn't begin to cover it. Remember the mandatory evacuation in Oroville? Even that didn't stop him! He still got it done in time, and done well. Amazing! And he kept us informed every step of the way. - Floyd is also a nice guy, who is fun and easy to talk to. - We are *definitely* having him do more work for us.

He guided us very early in the process, before walls even went us, which took the pressure off being forced into any inappropriate color choices. He provided very helpful suggestions and hints for room colors, ceiling appearance, and outside wall look. We had about thirty doors, and even more wooden window frames, as well as a kitchen full of knotty alder cabinets, required Floyd and his crew to sand, stain, and re-sand. He was very fastidious about the cleanliness of his work area, to keep the stain and paint from getting contaminated. Even when I thought Floyd was done with a process, I would see him back in there getting a finish or a color just right. At the same time he was very efficient. Floyd communicated well with the contractor throughout each stage of construction. Floyd's part of the building puzzle always went smoothly. He was able to work with and around the other subcontractors. After the finish work was completed, he went back through the house and touched up the few small dings and divots in the dry wall or floorboards that inevitably occurs when furniture, washers, and treadmills are forced through narrow door frames and down halls. He left us with five labeled pint or gallon buckets of paint for future touch up. After living in the house for over a year, we have not found that was left undone. Floyd's work still looks brand new. We do not have any regrets about working with Floyd. If we were to do any future construction, B&B Painting would be the first and last painting contractor that I would call.

I have some rental properties as well and I have gotten painting quotes in the past where it lead me to go," I'll just do this myself" even though myself does a horrible job because I am tired from working and I am not a painter. When another painter gives you a $4900 quote for an empty 1200 sq ft interior ranch house with no moldings or vaulted ceilings you do it yourself! I am not sure I'll ever touch a paint brush again now that I have worked with Darryl. Darryl worked around my schedule so my business could stay open and make revenue. I would come in every day and it would look amazing! all of my pictures were rehung and products back on the shelves, I certainly never expected that! Let's take a minute to touch on his attention to detail. I could never paint even when I focus as well as he does. I have many irons on the fire at one time so,I accidentally wrote the check for more than the quote. He immediately called and pointed out my over payment... that goes a long way with me! It shows integrity and honesty.

He met all his deadlines and went above and beyond the normal duties of a painter. The small details of his work are really what stand out. His painting skills are a work of art literally. You can definitely tell by his work that he loves what he does. He is honest and affordable. He also is doing are garage floors. He originally quoted for 2 of something he was going to need to do the floors. After closer examination he discovered he would only need 1. He deducted from quote. That is integrity! Something that unfortunately the construction trade lacks in my opinion.I would not go with anyone other then Darryl for all your paining needs. Not old will he wow you with his quality of painting, he will double wow you with his timing, honesty and integrity!
