The man constantly answers the phone and tells me that he's unavailable to come by and that is to the fact that he can fix the dresser, they won't give me my money back that I pay for the move they won't replace my dresser. Not only did the 3 guys I hired take forever to move us when it shouldn't have taken more than 4 hours, when we got to the unload location, one of the movers left leaving us with 2. My husband and I ended up helping move things out of our apartment and had to help unload the truck as well. They broke our TV stand before even getting it up off the ground. We thought it might have been something that we could just pop back on but after unpacking and getting things situated, we found that it ended up being completely broken and unusable because it is the bottom part that keeps it standing. I informed them of this as well as the wire shelf tower that came completely apart with their careless handling, and a TV broken. I received an email saying they would "look into it" and now we are 2 weeks from that email and emails sent to them for follow up and no response. Not only do I have hundreds of dollars wasted on their half a$$ service, I am now having to replace expensive items they broke. I will be filing complaints with BBB and U-Haul who I hired them through as well as everywhere else. read more

Making a move from one stare to another can be extremely difficult and stressful. My sister has used Frank Movers recently & recommended Alex & his team. I just could not have gone through such a fantastic experience & not say anything! Josh & Allen came to where the company dropped off my trailer & they were 100% right on time, polite & extremely efficient. I've heard many horror stories of movers (as I'm sure we all have) and I have to say, these guys were not only true professionals; but they did not skip a beat! It took 3 of us 8 hours to load up 13 feet of a 28 foot trailer as we had too much to load. Josh & Allen not only unloaded the trailer, not only placed everything nicely inside my storage unit, but they came to the house, brought up 3 pieces of furniture & took one away - all in less than 3 hours! Do not use this moving company! I scheduled my move a little less than two weeks out. I spoke to the owner on the phone and he confirmed his services. The day before moving I sent him a few texts to confirm that he would be here along with another mover. The moving time was 9 AM and he would not answer his phone and did not show up with his team. Being a single Woman, this was extremely detrimental to my move. Somehow I was able to get a hold of another moving company called box truck and they arrived within 35 minutes of my call after they found out what Frank movers did to me. Although I had to pay a little bit more, it was worth it and they literally saved the day. Frank movers are extremely unprofessional and if you even think about using them, you Definitely need a back up plan. If I could give this company less than a one star. They would have it. read more

I give zero stars. They were a no show after telling us at 9am they were on their way. By 11am we were worried about them and kept calling them and they wouldn't answer their phone. It was a move from a home to storage and then in 3 weeks a move from storage to a new home. Their loss we will call someone else. I'm thinking their college buddies are giving them the 5 star rating. Pitiful they could have said sorry we can't make it. Instead we had to find help last second . You'd think for $800 cash (because we don't use venmo) they would have shown up. I am writing this review in an attempt to save other individuals and families from the stress of having a no-show moving company. We first worked with Frank Movers a few years ago through the movinghelp.com website. This is a website that is connected to the UHaul website that allows you to hire independent movers in conjunction with renting your own truck. It's a good system. We selected Frank Movers based on positive reviews and a good price and they did a great job for us. When you find someone you like, you typically hold on to their phone number and plan to use them again, and that's what we did. We've even recommended Franks Movers to friends. Unfortunately, we were not rewarded for this loyalty. Instead of booking Frank Movers through the UHaul website, we called and booked with them directly for our June 29th move several weeks in advance. The person we spoke with on the phone asked that my husband send a follow-up text to confirm, which he did. On the morning of the move, my husband sent a text message at 9am to confirm a 10am arrival. They called us to ask if we had booked through the movinghelp.com website or directly with them. My husband told them, directly with them, and that he sent the follow-up text. He said they were at an unload right now and would probably be a little late. In retrospect, I think he asked the question about movinghelp.com vs direct booking to know whether we would be able to leave them a review on movinghelp.com (which you cannot if you do not book through that website). We were told they would be at our house by 11am at the latest. At 11:10am, we called and texted and got no answer. They completely no-showed. We were stuck with a truck we needed to return at 2pm, all our heavy furniture wrapped up and ready to move, and no movers. It was terrible, and stressful. We had to rent the truck again the next day, and the whole process cost us more money than we had planned to spend, all because this business was disorganized and also dishonest. If they double-booked (which is what I'm assumming happened), why didn't they just tell us that at 9am which would have given us time to try to find last minute movers. Instead, they lied and avoided conflict by saying they would be late rather than saying they were not going to show. How do people sleep at night? We have a 1-year-old and this was a very stressful situation because we had to be out of our apartment the next day, no exceptions. I recommend going with a moving company that has reviews and a BBB rating. This was a terrible situation, and I hope noone has to deal with it in the future. read more

They never showed up! I looked for mover recommendations from friends and community members. Frank Movers were mentioned a couple of times. I liked their rates comparatively, yet I read some bad reviews. I booked them, and while on the phone I mentioned one review and about how it stated they never showed up. The guy on the phone had a story about this as it was a 'misunderstanding.' I asked him if they would absolutely show up to my address on moving day. He assured me. I booked 4 men. He told me to text him my address and information about the move, as he was currently headed to another move. I rented a 26' UHaul. At my initiation, they confirmed with me two days before. On the eve of the move I sent a text saying "We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at 12:30 pm at [address]" No response. The morning of moving day I sent another text. No response. Then I called to confirm that they would be here. No response. Then 12:30 came--no response. Then I called, and called, and other people tried calling them. No RESPONSE! So here I was on moving day, with my house packed, a UHaul, and no movers! My mother (with her body falling apart) and my post-stroke uncle were trying to load boxes. I was in tears. I desperately tried to find movers in the city, but all businesses were booked. After calling my real estate agent, I got connected to BEK Movers, who came out on short notice, and saved the day. Frank Movers loaded for us only.Instructions on loading was given..assumed doing it correctly..didnt stand around and micromanage..MISTAKE..loaded one the trucks opposite directives..when arrived to unload 600 miles away.unloaders had to unload and reload b 4 all items could be dropped off..clothing items were strewn over furniture, behind mattresses..could not see until mattresses were being unloaded..wardrobes were available..half packed..bed frame was broken..mirror lampstand,crystal bowl and lawn statue broken.pictures were broken..visible when unloaders brought items from truck. Took unloaders approximately 2 additional hours to unload.reload.unload..Attempted to reach FM via U.Haul and 314.441.6091 numerous times..to file complaints..and seek mutual agreement on losses.No results..u.haul referred me to website as well.no response..VERY disappointed in performance of loaders..in St.Louis ..would NEVER use again nor recomend to anyone.
