A horrible company completely overcharged me last summer and did a terrible job of trimming up my massive black walnut after a series of storms knocked down a ton of branches that took out a lot of wires. They worked for a total of 20 minutes and two days afterwards, I had three more limbs randomly fall. This week's storms tore it up once again and I had massive branches scattered all throughout my yard, one that fell about 2 feet from my back door. Thankfully neither I nor any of the pups were outside when any of these branches fell. Because of this, any wind gusts over 3 mph absolutely terrify me. I called all around on Monday morning, was ghosted by more than one company, and then finally landed on this one. I CANNOT recommend this company enough. Frank Jastrabek's Tree Service Inc is the best of best. They came out on Monday within an hour of my call, secured my yard, gave me an incredible quote, and then returned back today to do the most amazing job ever. They were SO polite and just genuinely incredible human beings. They spent almost 3 hours trimming up my tree and ensuring my safety. I am just completely blown away by how amazing my tree looks now! Last Friday we had a very large limb fall, it was still attached (barely) to the tree trunk. The limb fell across the fence, without touching it, taking out the neighbors power and laying on our line also. We had Frank Jastrabek's Tree Service, the "B" crew, come out and remove a fallen limb on Tuesday 6-7-22. We couldn't have asked for better service. They were here 1 day after seeing the job and giving me a quote which was lower than 5 other quotes we received, plus all the other services wouldn't touch the job until DTE came and relocated our service to the house and needed to take down the fence to protect it, plus needing days before they could begin. Andrew Jasrabek assured me his guys could remove it without further damage. His "B" crew showed up the following day. These guys are are surely experts. Very organized, friendly and in 2 hours were done, no damage, no power loss and everything perfectly cleaned up! I sat and watched the entire job and was amazed, personally I didn't think it was possible to do what they did! I am going to write my own review on having a tree cut down but first have to comment on the first guys review... in all the years I have had wood delivered and at my neighbors, the wood is put in my driveway, as I/we were told (home or not). To have the wood put/placed in your garage is something you have to ask for I'm sure. Maybe you misunderstood Adnan. Anyway, I had a great experience and they had the most reasonable prices. The crew came to our house when they said they would and set up very carefully. To protect our driveway from the heavy truck and debris, they set up a lot of cardboard and boards, I didn't expect that. I also mentioned we had a fairly new roof on garage and they were as careful as possible... the tree was leaning over our garage so it was tricky. And fast!! I couldn't believe from start to finish the tree, plus clean up, was complete in less than an hour 1/2. Pretty amazing. I did take pictures because I was in awe and will post them after I find them. I would highly recommend this company! We had three trees that needed some major areas cut off. Our massive Maple tree had a huge branch over our home. If that ever fell on our roof, it would have caused major damage. We know that some insurance companies are refusing to insure if a homeowner has large tree branches near the house. Frank's crew was excellent, reasonable price for the work we needed done and were very professional. Boy, do they have the equipment to do the job. They cleaned everything up afterward and even helped us out by taking some logs that we couldn't get rid of from past tree cuttings. Frank Jastrabek's crew are just finishing up on pulling all our evergreens (back and front yards), drastically cutting back a huge tree that was leaning against our garage, and trimming a tree abutting the street. They were right on time this morning, worked steadily and quickly, were respectful of my husband and me as well as each other, cleaned up all debris and small chips, raked the grass and swept the driveway and walks. Even pulled any roots that popped up after the stump grinding. It's 12:09 p.m. now and they arrived at 8:30 a.m. Very professional, focused on the job and finished in amazingly short time. We had 6 Spruce trees that were each approximately 40 feet tall. After 30 years, they are too tall for our backyard. Frank Jastrabek's "A Team" came to our house with the necessary equipment to remove all 6 trees within 2 hours. The team members worked well together to cut down the trees, shred all parts of the trees and cleaned up all the debris afterwards. The team worked safely. Each member wore helmets, safety glasses, earplugs and other safety equipment. Their machines had guards and were used in a safe manner. The crew just left and I was struck by what a good experience we had with what is a normally stressful encounter. We had large and small trees along with some brush removed along with trimming and limbing up of larger trees. These guys are attentive to the homeowner and aware of and careful not impact on the neighbors. Franks tree service was the best decision we made to try and save our Silver Maple tree from immediate removal. Steve from team B of Franks tree service was very knowledgeable and understanding that we wanted to save the City's old silver maple tree as it was showing signs of becoming unhealthy! Team B worked efficiently and quickly!! The Tree stands taller with a new " hair cut" but it seriously does look immediately better now the dead branches have been removed!! I used the service about 10 years ago to take down a dead oak - it was 4 feet in diameter, they did a clean and efficient job for a price that was in line with other companies. I had 2 trees just fall over after a wind storm a few years ago. I had Frank Jastrabek cut down two maple trees in my back yard. One was next to my house and really big, at least 50' tall and 3' diameter trunk. The other one was smaller but was close to power lines. Being in the back yard both had there own challenges. The crew showed up as scheduled and was able to cut down both trees safely. They removed all branches, and debris. They ground the stump down and removed all wood shavings. They did a great job!. Very professional and the price was very competitive. 100% Steve and his crew are GREAT! I had them out again this year, to cut some branches hanging over the roof that became a nice way for the raccoons to get up on the roof very easily. All of those were cut down, turned into mulch on the spot, they raked, they cleaned up after themselves. I can't say enough good things about these people. They always go above and beyond. We used Franks to remove part of a huge maple tree hanging over our backyard. The quote they gave us was beyond reasonable so we didn't even call around for other quotes. They came out the day they said they would and all the workers were extremely professional and friendly. The job we had them do was tough because of power lines in the way but they were able to get it done efficiently. They also took the extra time to sweep and clean up.
