Sometimes the place is busy and the service is slow because of it, but the food is always good, and I get that it's a learning environment for students, so: be patient, folks. But now the management has changed the whole experience. They've cut back the serving staff to only TWO people, closed the downstairs room altogether, and taken out tables so that there are only 2 booths and 2 four-tops, plus the bar. Their FB page now says "reservations only" but they don't even have an online system so you can see what dates are free. You have to call to talk to one of those belabored *two* people who are covering the entire room. I'm guessing they're also the ones answering the phones for take-out, too. How is this "enhancing [my] dining experience" exactly? To be fair, the food is still good and the two ladies working the night we were there are great and gave us great service. But the room feels spookily empty with so few tables. Plus the idea of being guilted into calling for mandatory reservations? Who does that?! Disappointing management decision that does a disservice to all the hardworking people who work here, and to their loyal customers too. Not sure when we'll be back again, now.
