I had scheduled the appointment in advance and was assured that all required records and x-rays had been provided to their office. On the day of my visit, I was informed that the x-rays had not been received and would need to be performed in order to proceed with a cleaning. Although I declined the x-rays, they were performed anyways and I was billed. I contacted the office multiple times over a 30-day period to address this issue. Each time, staff claimed they had spoken with Katrina, the manager, yet I never received a response directly from her. I would not recommend this office due to over-billing, poor communication, and a lack of patient-centric care. I suggest looking elsewhere for your dental needs.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Plaza Midwood Dentistry and Dr. Hart, hygienists/techs like Weslynn, as well as their front office. They worked out a plan to focus on the cavities first, then crowns and implants, but I wasn't expecting the huge difference, even with the temporary cosmetic stuff they did (I'm not a dentist so I don't know the right name for it). After my last appointment, I cried when I looked in the mirror and asked for a hug. Went home and cried some more because I was so happy. Sent pictures to my best friends and family. People who see me and know me comment on my smile all the time. They are some of the most caring and understanding people in the business. I've been to many dentists and oral surgeons after my childhood dentist retired. These folks are by far my favorite. We still have a ways to go to get all the work done, but I will always be so appreciative of how hard they work and how well they do it. I recently needed to get an estimate for a procedure. Even though I had been in the office just a week earlier and they already knew what treatment I needed, they refused to provide even a high-level estimate over the phone. Instead, they insisted I schedule another appointment because they claimed they didn't have the procedure codes needed to generate a quote. That explanation doesn't make sense to me. It's hard to believe a dental office can't reference common procedure codes to provide a ballpark estimate for a known treatment plan. I wasn't asking for an exact insurance breakdown--just a general idea of what the service would cost so I could make an informed decision. The lack of transparency and the need to schedule another visit just to get pricing feels unnecessary and inconvenient. While I have confidence in Dr. Gebhart, the office's administrative and billing process left me disappointed.

I had an extremely upsetting and unprofessional experience at this dental office. I originally went…read morein for a routine cleaning, but instead of a normal visit, I was handed a long list of supposed issues with my teeth and told I needed a "special cleaning." On top of that, they tried to pressure me into scheduling a wisdom teeth removal for the very next day, which immediately felt rushed and unnecessary. Trusting my instincts, I sought a second opinion from another dentist, and, unsurprisingly, none of what I was told was accurate. There were no urgent issues, no need for any special procedures, and certainly no reason for immediate surgery. It felt like I was being pushed into expensive treatments I didn't actually need. To make matters worse, they attempted to get me to pay over $8,000 upfront. During my visit, the dentist also made me extremely uncomfortable by repeatedly touching me, including my chest area, while speaking to me. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The only positive part of my visit was the woman who assisted with my X-rays. She was kind, professional, and made me feel at ease. After deciding not to move forward with any of their recommendations, I called to request a refund for appointments I had scheduled in advance. What should have been a simple process turned into a frustrating ordeal.... it took four phone calls and over a month and a half to finally receive my refund. Overall, this experience was stressful, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointing. I would absolutely not recommend this office to anyone and will never return.
