I don't know if it was on accident or some diabolical genius plan putting the truck close to 66 but it definitely got the smell of fresh pizza in my face and my body to their counter . Walking up the folks here are super friendly! They took the time to explain their flavors and recommendations which I asked for. We ordered the Three Little Pigs and the special Cherry Chipotle BBQ wings with blue cheese (ranch is also an option for all you BC haters) along with a Sour Patch Kids beverage. Pizza review: Extremely fresh, crispy crust, not thick not too thin but definitely tasty all on its own. I had to eat the crust. The toppings of pepperoni, sausage, and bacon, delicious and very generous. Very nice sauce that paired great with the flavor of the ingredients and cheese. I don't think they cutting corners on ingredients here. I'm looking forward to my return to try the other flavors but after two slices of pizza here and a couple wings I was pretty full. The Wings: Cherry Chipotle BBQ, OMG. You know how you get the BBQ sometimes and it's just that delicious sticky icky yum yum mmm mmm good kind of sauce. It kind a felt like that as I licked the sauce off my fingers and enjoyed the jumbo sized juicy wings they served me. They have all the standard flavors but I loved that they offer a special of something different than the usual. And they did it very well. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth I recommend the Sour Patch Drink as it is tart and sweet with a few sour patch kids to enjoy at the end. It paired very well with the flavors of our meal and I very much enjoyed sitting outside, watching the traffic go by while I ate this delicious meal. All in all I will definitely be back. They're open Sunday, Monday, Tuesday for now and will be seen around town at various festivals and events. They accept cash and card, and offer a respectful discount to Veterans, Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement. Great food, great folks, and fast service all make for a winning combo at Mama Jeans Pies. Check 'em out Facebook as well for weekly updates on specials. Can't wait to go back!! Great job folks!

I stopped in on wing Wednesday, and boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat. On Wednesdays, their wings are .75 cents per wing, a minimum of 10 per order. So, in true foodie fashion, I decided to order some for "now and later." I chose their Val wings, Salt & Pepper, and Korean BBQ. We also ordered a Cheesesteak, I had been told by 2 people that this was the best cheesesteak in town, and I just had to try it for myself. Let's start with their wings. Are they a great value ? Yes! Were they amazing? Also, yes! These wings were simply great. Great size, great flavor profile, just great across the board! I can't imagine coming here and not ordering their wings. So good! You're probably thinking, well, what about the cheesesteak... well, I can assure you that the 2 people who suggested I try it did not steer me wrong. This cheesesteak was delicious!!! Full of tender steak, toppings, and loaded with cheese just how I love it. To make matters even better on Tuesdays, you can order a loaded cheesesteak & fries for only $8. Way too much cheese & baked on a metal screen. I ordered two slices from their 24" pie. More gimmick than good pizza. Extra soft and not very crusty. The cheese is so gloppy, it spills off the crust and all over your hands. Unfortunate, because the sauce is quite good. I ordered an upside down pie and 2 garlic "giant" knots, too. The upside down was better than the plain cheese, but had the same soft crust, albeit with a better ratio of cheese to sauce to crust. Again, the sauce was the winner. The garlic knots were awful. Tasted like greasy day old pizza dough. No garlic flavor whatsoever. Price for large upside down, 2 large slices, and 2 knots? Nearly $40. Very disappointing.

The pizza ordered in Adams was a half meatball, half hot peppers 18" pie. The crust was inconsistent with thicker, chewy parts towards the outer part, and very thin around the center, as if the dough wasn't stretched out enough. And, what was once a nice looking orange pie has become a soupy amalgam of gooey cheese and ok sauce. It was the exact same problem in Pulaski, way too much cheese that was concentrated around the center of the pie that gave the sauce zero chance of poking through. The cheese was not put on very evenly either. There was no magic between the sauce, cheese and crust. Just an average pizza by NYC standards. More like tomato fondue.
