The crust was so thin, there was no chew. All crisp and no chew. No layer between the crispy bottom and the wet, saucy side. Cracked and crumbled when folded. The ratio of crust to cheese to sauce was off. Baked on a screen. WAY too much gooey, non-snapping cheese. The outer crust had no chew to it and was too airy and light. Sauce was on point and meatballs were excellent. And, 16" isn't really a large in a REAL NY pizzeria. 18" is the NY standard. Then came the big save; the upside down or Utica pie. It was truly excellent. Probably pretty much the same ingredients as their NY style pizza, but WAY better in a different form. I ate it hot. I ate it at room temperature. Each bite was a flavorgasm. So, skip their NY style pie which is mediocre at best and order something memorable.

The owner came out and gave me a little extra something since I only wanted the tenders. The bathroom was clean. It's not a restaurant with sitdown service, you do order at the counter, but they do bring your food to you at the table if you choose to eat in. The entire place was very clean and I was quite impressed. The pizza was delicious. The chicken tenders had a nice crispy breaded outside. When passing through again, I will definitely stop and try more of their very extensive menu.
