Pizza is always amazing. Food is good for take out, if you choose to dine in you may not like the looks.

I've been going here since we were kids. I love the upside down pizza and the sauce is on the sweeter side. Definitely would recommend.

Awful pizza and even worse wings. Inside is so dirty I was scared to eat the food even though I ordered it to go.

The best. Homemade sauce, dough, sausage, finest meats for subs and very reasonable. Fresh Fish on Friday is perfect. Nice atmosphere.

I really like this place and want to see it succeed -- the staff are friendly, the food's solid,…read moreand the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. That said, a few small things keep it from being a five-star experience. First, I've noticed that drinks are sometimes served in plastic cups. I'm not sure if that's a consistent policy or just on certain nights, but it doesn't match the otherwise professional vibe of a hotel bar. Glassware adds a level of quality that really matters in a setting like this. Second, the Monday half-price chicken wing special being "dine-in only" feels a bit too rigid. I completely understand why the rule exists -- to avoid people ordering massive to-go quantities without ordering drinks or tipping. But if a customer's been at the bar for a couple of hours, ordering multiple rounds and treating staff well, they should be able to take their leftovers home. Once food is paid for, that's simply part of the cost of doing business. This isn't meant as a complaint -- more like constructive feedback. It's a good spot that does a lot right, and with just a few adjustments, it could easily be a five-star favorite.

There is a counter to the left as you come in, followed by an unattractive cooler case with signs on it. In between is a bakery case that is small but had a nice selection when I was there. I ordered a cup of decaf and a small chocolate almond cupcake, for a price of $8. I declined the plastic box and sat down with the cupcake in an upholstered chair opposite the counter. I thought my coffee would be right up but it took many minutes. I almost left. The cupcake was small but good (fluffy cake, sugary frosting). Then I noticed the sign that said everything was gluten and dairy-free. Surprise! When the coffee was ready, the cream was put in for me. I guess it was nondairy. The coffee was warm like a keurig makes. I had noticed Lunch menus in a wall pocket and Brunch menus behind the counter. So this place is actually full restaurant for people with gluten and dairy allergies. The lunches all seemed to cost ~$18 and seemed inventive. Fries were available as a specialty. There were a lot of tables in the long, cool, dark room. It seemed like a decent place to have an undisturbed meal while talking with friends.

Karma Asian Fusion was a bit of a mixed experience for us…read more First, the positives: the restaurant smelled fantastic when we walked in, which always builds your expectations right away. The portion sizes are very generous, the takeout service was quick, and everything was packaged well, which is always appreciated when bringing food home. The challenge for us came with the flavor and texture of the food. Because this is clearly fusion cuisine, it's understandable that the dishes won't taste exactly like traditional versions, even if they share the same names. That said, many of the dishes we ordered were very vinegar-forward, which ended up overpowering most of the other flavors. The egg rolls had a great crisp, but unfortunately they were extremely oily, to the point that biting into one resulted in a mouthful of oil. The noodles were interesting but arrived as one solid clump stuck together, and overall the dish felt quite bland despite the strong vinegar notes. Both myself and my dining companion experienced stomach discomfort fairly quickly, likely from the grease level. While the portion sizes were impressive, we both agreed there was no chance we would be eating the leftovers. Our roommate also tried some of the chicken and ended up spitting it out because of the strong sour/vinegar flavor. One suggestion I would make is considering different naming for some dishes. When menu items use traditional names, diners often expect something closer to the classic flavor profile. With fusion cooking, setting expectations differently might help avoid that mismatch. Another small suggestion would be offering a choice of noodles, as that could add some flexibility to the dishes. Overall, Karma Asian Fusion does a few things well -- generous portions, quick service, and good takeout packaging -- but the flavor balance and oil level just didn't work for us personally.
