She answered any questions we had and even gave suggestions on things we could do in the area. The office has coffee via a Keurig as well as a microwave for guests to use. We stayed in one of the rooms with a king bed and a balcony, which has a view of the mountains. It was nice to hang out on the balcony and relax after spending the day out. The room also has a table, a coffeemaker, TV and air conditioning. There's also a restuarant attached to the lodge downstairs(The Grateful Skier), which is convenient if you're looking for something to eat or get some drinks. They had trivia night and live music night during our stay, which we enjoyed. Definitely check The Grateful Skier out while staying here. The lodge also has an indoor pool, which I believe is open all year long. The pool area is warm(you can feel the difference in temperature as soon as you step foot in the room). The pool is big and we enjoyed our time in it(we went in the morning and it probably helped that no one else was there lol). Overall, The Kancamagus Lodge is a great inexpensive lodging option if you're staying in Lincoln, NH. The prices for what they offer is a great deal. Besides the things I already mentioned, they're also a great location as there's many things to do in close proximity, whether it's restuarants, stores or seeing the gorgeous nature of the area(The Lost River Caves, The River Gorge, etc). There were brown crumbs or pieces of some sort in the bubbles on top of them...it looked like dirt, I have no idea what it is...I should have zoomed in and taken a photo, I could probably do that with an existing photo that I took from out further. We usually need a couple extra pillows and they wouldn't give us any of those either. So this really does make it the least accommodating Holiday Inn Express I've ever visited. Aside from those problems everything else was pretty typical. Room was clean. No real soaps or shampoos, just those bottles bolted to the shower and sink. Breakfast was typical. They actually had bacon which a lot of them only have sausages. I would stay here again but only if someone else better around the same price range wasn't available.

I stayed in room # 402 and the bathroom had a major flaw - two heavy glass panel doors for the shower would not stay shut, no matter how I tried to position them. Both panels would slam open constantly - only options were to have the bathroom floor flood while showering, or try to shower with one hand while holding the door shut with the other. Not good - needs to be checked asap... if I had been staying longer than one night, I would have had to mention it for sure.

They congratulated us once we arrived and they even had champagne in the room waiting!!! Stayed in the Koru Room which was extremely nice. Had your own bathroom and plenty of room. The breakfast in the morning was out of this world!!!! As for location, it is less than a minute away from the main strip in Lincoln, we were able to go to Loon Mountain, ice staking, the local Brewery, and the Ice Castles... all of which where under a 5/10 minute drive. Again, CJ and Carly were amazing hosts. Being our first time they both made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We had some great conversation with them and they made us feel at home! The resort itself was great, and my family loved it. Since it was still early in the season, the outdoor pool wasn't open yet, but we made full use of the indoor pool. One thing that really stood out to me was how well they maintain everything. When the pool closed, the maintenance team came in right away to test and balance the water in both the pool and the hot tubs for the next day. It's little details like that that show how much they care about the property. A month later, we used the free week we received for attending the Vacation Club presentation and stayed at a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, that hotel didn't compare--limited amenities and a dirty pool. The big difference? As Vacation Club members, we were still able to use Pollard Brook's amenities during that stay. When we came back for day use, the staff was just as friendly and helpful, and everything--from the pools and hot tubs to the sauna and game room--was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I would strongly recommend both Pollard Brook and the Vacation Club. Being able to use the amenities at any of their properties as a member adds a lot of value and really enhances the experience.

They have two outdoor pools and two indoor pools, 2 hot tubs ( one for 21+ which I thought was a good idea) also a hot tub outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. They also had 2 game rooms but one of the rooms none of the games were working which was a bummer for our rainy day. The views were awesome and the best part about this resort is it's literally within 5 miles of most things, grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream, convenience stores etc. Also was not even a mile down the road from alpine adventures which was our main attraction. The only thing we didn't like was their recycling policy was a bit much, although I do appreciate the concern for eco friendly, it would have been nice to have someone come pick up the recycle and sort through it. Their policy is 3 different colored bags for 3 different types of recyclables and you have to sort it out and take them all out of the bag when you go to the recycling center, which I ended up driving too because I didn't want to walk that far with trash bags in my hands. But overall, the stay was great, the views were beautiful and the staff was friendly and they had a full kitchen and a pull out queen in the living room which was perfect for our stay! There are much better options around the area I'll be exploring from now on, and will pass the message along. Too bad a great buisness went downhill, and quick, due to new managment who took over. It's not even the new owners that speak to you, it's a third line business that handles things. They are NOT friendly, and they lied about the amount of times they contacted me, only to threaten to take me to court. I have everything documented, now it's been settled. Never have I ever been threatened with something like this over a mistake the company made themselves.
