I had three fillings done there and was in pain for two weeks straight; the experience left me feeling so stressed and violated that I was stuck in bed for a week. I decided to return to Insight Dentistry, this time, to the office in Downtown (I've been to their other Ventura location before), and I'm so glad I did. The dental assistant, Jenny, who did my X-Rays was so gentle and caring. Dr. Boldbaatar immediately identified the problem and fixed it. She re-did the fillings, and it was completely painless. I usually twitch at the dentist due to stress, but I felt so safe and welcomed by the whole team that I didn't twitch once. Truly one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. Called his office at 10p.m. to leave a voice message in opes they would call me the next day. To my surprise, Dr. Lee answered the phone and we spoke for nearly 60 minutes about my critical dental health. He explained all I needed to know about LANAP and he scheduled me an appointment for the next morning. The dentist I spoke with before Dr. Lee, wanted to remove 5 of my teeth and do 5 bone graphs to prepare for dental implants. The cost would have be in the neighborhood of 30K. Dr. Lee explain in no uncertain terms that my dental health wasn't anywhere near healthy enough for implants. After discussing LANAP a bit more, I was sold. I probably can't say the exact cost of what Dr. Lee did for me, but lets just say he save me a heap of money. More importantly he saved the 5 teeth that the other would have removed. Dr. Lee actually saved my entire mouth and then some. Dr. Lee is super honest, direct, and informative. I feel I received some of the best dental work of my life. I could not recommend Prime Dental Group and Dr. Lee enough. I hope to have Dr. Lee around for many years to come! If i could give 10 stars on this review, I most definitely would! I walked in without pain, walked out in excruciating pain. I haven't been the same ever since…read more First off I visited this office because I had irritation on my top left quadrant. Dr. Meier reccomended a deep cleaning or a root plaining. I agreed to have the treatment done. After the treatment the irritation was gone. I felt really good about this office. Note that there were no cavities detected. Upon my return a few months later for a routine cleaning, I was treated by a dental hygienist that was real rough on me. In fact she scraped my teeth so hard that I knew something was wrong. I've had many routine cleanings done in my life and non have been this painful. At the very endof the treatment she seemed to fumble her cleaning tool the wrong way and I screamed in pain. They did an Xray and it now appears that I have a cavity exactly where she fumbled her tool. As I had stated before, I walked in feeling fine, and walked out in serious pain that hasn't subsided but has only intensified ever since. Additionally not only do I have pain in the affected area, but I have gained pain in my lower jaw where I've never experienced pain before in my life. And this pain began after my last visit with the dental hygienist at this office. To add insult to injury, after I made my complaint about my pain, this office had the audacity to send me a "Dear John" letter firing me as a patient and refusing to rectify the issue. Also note: This office follows their patients on Instagram publicy which seems a bit intrusive. I don't want my Dentist knowing about my personal life, opinions, friends, religious and or political beliefs etc, because this knowledge can negatively affect the Doctor/Patient relationship and the quality of care received.
