Special thanks to Dental Assistant Vincent for always being so thorough and personable to calm my nerves. We have been coming here for years, and there has not been anything but great service and care. The facility feels like a spa. The team is always friendly and customer service oriented. The ambiance is filled with positivity from the team there. It makes me uncomfortable when I have to get dental and medical work done amongst a team that speaks badly of eachother. You don't get that here. They always work with you to see if insurance will cover as much as you need. They don't try to upsell you. They sincerely call to check on you. If there is an emergency or urgency, they work really hard to get you in. Even on their day off! Example, my temp crown broke this morning. They squeezed me in. I was blessed that Ashley assisted me. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She was even helping a teammate learn the process, because my case was not normal. Loved her! She got the work done, and it feels so much better! To wrap it up... Facility absolutely amazing! All specialists in one place. The place is more like a spa. Service: Consistently great. Professional, personable and very detailed. Medical team: Knowledgeable, skilled and known in the community. How many pro can say they love their dentist?

I've worked with 2 doctors here and both were outstanding and consistent. I was asked multiple times throughout my visit if there was anything they could do to make my dental visit comfortable and if I had any concerns. I also recieved follow ups from the Dr for my pain levels. Their communication style and genuine curiosity in each patient's concern is what makes them a fantastic team. In addition to all those important things off is the actual clinic environment...it's like a spa type lobby, very clean and decorative, & has water/coffee at the front. You get an exam then they give you the sales pitch on all the things that you could do and it feels more like I am being upsold than being given health advice. Coming to Vista and meeting Dr. Min was the opposite. I told me everything that was going on, what he thinks is needed and what's not needed. What's even more insane is his suggestion contradicted another dentist that I felt was trying to upsell me. I can't say enough good things about Vista dental on their transparency practices, how kind and professional their staff is. This is definitely my dentist moving forward for me and my family. Finally feels like I found a trustworthy place. In terms of service, I had plenty of cavities to fill and I didn't feel a thing. He even kept asking me how I was doing and if I needed a break. If you guys need a dentist you should try out Vista. I normally don't do reviews, but I felt like an honest dentist like Dr. Min deserves some public support.

I am extremely disappointed with the care I received at Barosum Dental in Upland. My experience…read moreleft me feeling unheard, misdiagnosed, and ultimately traumatized. While I was out of town on July 12, 2026, I developed severe pain on the lower right side of my mouth. As soon as I returned, I scheduled an emergency appointment for July 15. I also had a previously scheduled deep cleaning appointment for July 16. During my emergency visit, the female dentist appeared to minimize my concerns. Instead of focusing on the area where I was experiencing pain, she asked whether I had seen an endodontist for a referral from a year earlier and questioned a shadow in my gums that had existed for over 30 years on the opposite side of my mouth. I requested X-rays, and a 360-degree scan was performed. After reviewing the images, she told me everything looked fine, that I had no cavities, gave me Sensodyne toothpaste for tooth sensitivity, and said I was cleared to proceed with my deep cleaning the following day. Later that same day, the office coordinator called and told me they wanted me to see the endodontist before my cleaning. I went to the appointment, and within five minutes the endodontist identified a cavity. My primary dentist confirmed the finding and recommended that my wisdom tooth be extracted. I was extremely upset that my condition had been missed during my emergency visit. I asked to speak with the female dentist who had evaluated me, but she was unavailable. I scheduled the extraction for July 17, 2026. Because I had previously had a successful experience using nitrous oxide during another tooth extraction, I requested it again to help manage my anxiety. I was numbed for the procedure and was told I was receiving nitrous oxide, but I never felt its effects. I noticed the dental assistant was on the phone for much of the procedure, and it appeared that no one ensured the nasal cannula was properly positioned. I informed both the oral surgeon and the assistant that I did not feel like I was receiving the nitrous oxide, but my concerns were dismissed. I remained anxious throughout the procedure, and the extraction was ultimately unsuccessful. I left the office emotional, traumatized, and deeply disappointed. This was the worst dental experience I have ever had. As healthcare providers, listening to patients is essential. I repeatedly expressed my concerns and felt they were ignored every step of the way. I will not be returning to this office. I also plan to verify that my insurance was not billed for procedures that were not completed, including the deep cleaning and the unsuccessful tooth extraction. I hope this review encourages the office to improve communication, patient care, and attention to patient concerns so that others do not have a similar experience.
