I've been to multiple salons but this one was not particularly one of my favourites…read more I did end up with a great cut, but didn't get what I asked for in colour, and my stylist was late for the appointment. The people at the front desk were nice and they have plently of appointments available however I was expecting "one of the best salons in toronto" and I certainly did not get it. Not to mention you are paying top dollar.

A reformed 'salon slut', i used to visit a different place for every haircut, and then several…read moreyears ago I met Trancis at W and everything changed. A Senior Stylist, Trancis has incredible talent, and he has that unique ability to bring your personality out in your hair. If I'm not exactly sure what I want, I give him free reign, and he never disappoints. I usually book evening appointments, and it's not uncommon for Trancis to crack open a nice bottle of red to sip on while he does his thing. And sometimes his adorable little Chihuahua Elvis is at the salon.....too cute!! The salon itself (decor, vibe, etc.), is ok....I think it needs to be refreshed, personally, but the stylists are definitely what keep people coming back, and referring their friends. The rest of the staff will all treat you well, too. I usually have to book my appointment a minimum of 1 week in advance; sometimes more if I want a particularly busy day and time slot like Friday evening. Trancis is a popular guy! Bottom line: I have awesome hair, and if you want awesome hair, too - visit Trancis!

Crystal was a sweetheart: kind, communicative and friendly. And the other stylist there had flashy pants that were very awesome and entertaining especially with sparkles having caught the light with every motion and movement. When I first called, I spoke to Alex, who was very informative also. The ambiance was perfect, great tunes, loved the brick and plant contrast. And Kimmie was beautifully balanced. Not so talkative, yet engaging the perfect amount. And she braided the hair I desired to keep after it got chopped. I didn't even ask. Definitely above and beyond service and that's my kinda place. I not only recommend Untitled, I'll be revisiting again. THANK-YOU × a bajillion for a haircut & style that I am feeling damn good about!

I booked an editorial blowout after calling ahead to speak with both the receptionist and a…read morestylist. As a Black woman with extensions, I was intentional about asking whether the salon could properly service my hair. I clearly described the texture of my hair and the fact that I wear extensions. This conversation was an opportunity for transparency--but rather than addressing any potential limitations, it seems the priority was securing the booking. According to the website, the editorial blowout includes a wash, blow dry, and set. I arrived on time for my 10:00 AM appointment, but we didn't begin until 10:15 AM. Since services are listed by time, starting 15 minutes late was concerning. Despite this, I was charged for the full editorial service--even though the stylist decided not to wash my hair, stating it would take too long to dry due to the extensions. This was her decision, made for the sake of time, and not something I requested or agreed to. Yet, a wash is clearly included in the service description, and I was still charged for it. When I pointed this out to the receptionist, I was told a note would be made for my next appointment--one I hadn't booked and likely will not be booking. As a new client, I expected some form of consultation. What I received was minimal and only happened because I prompted it. I explained that I wanted a full-volume, '90s-inspired blowout, and while the stylist acknowledged this, the execution did not reflect my request. The appointment consisted mostly of styling with a curling iron and blow dryer. In terms of skill, if I had booked a standard blowout or an extension-specific blowout, I may have had a better experience. Unfortunately, the result did not meet my expectations or reflect what was advertised. My dissatisfaction was not just about the final look--it was about the lack of care in delivering what I specifically asked for and the failure to follow through on what the service includes. A simple, honest conversation could have set expectations clearly. Lastly, and most importantly: If your team is not trained or experienced in working with textured hair, extensions, or styles that fall outside your regular clientele, then a client's appointment is not the time to learn or experiment. Transparency and preparation are a form of respect--and they go a long way in building trust.

I have been going to this salon for about 2 years, though not consistently (have had man's haircut…read morethere about 8 times). The salon itself is very beautiful, clean and modern which gives a professional picture to it. The staff are good and kind. They have provided me high-quality service, although sometimes not as good as the other times (a little below my expectations of them), but some other times (like today), they were much better than I thought and made me really happy. The only disadvantage of the salon would be it's high-price (which is a normal thing for all professional salons - yet made it expensive for customers). UPDATE: I forget to mention one of their best services: the hair wash before each haircut which is accompanied by head massage... just amazing (Jordan gave me the best massage I ever had...you rock lady) The stylists: I had a some haircuts with Tiffany, and she was great Once I had a haircut with Stephanie (as I mistakenly thought she is Tiffany when booking the appointment!), And she was...meh...just okay...if not bad. Today Richard had cut my hairs and I think he did a great job. Also, I had a few haircuts with a Korean lady which unfortunately I cannot remember her name, but she was also good (and smart).
