TLDR: Excel put us in a pickle, JDP came out after hours and went the extra mile to get our power…read morerestored. We had a tree branch fall on our overhead power line running to our electric meter, bending the mast and popping the meter off the wall. We called excel when the issue happened, and it took them a month (and multiple phone calls) to get a person to come look at it. They came out on a Friday at 4 pm, declared our meter a fire hazard, dropped our power line, and told us that an electrician needed to repair the conduit/meter before they would restore power. I called several companies who couldn't do it (understandably) but JDP sent their on call guy. He was there for several hours completing the work, and even talked with Excel on the phone advocating for us. Our power was restored at 10 pm, in no small part due to JDPs commitment.

My husband and I had JDP Electric install some recessed lights into our main floor living room…read more(where there previously was no lighting) and our bedroom (removed the light/chandelier). Because it's difficult to add recessed lighting "after the fact", they suggested a different kind of light...a kind of 'disc' light...it looks very similar to a recessed light, but isn't. They are perfect. Personally, I think they are better than a recessed light, because they are brighter!! They also added a dimmer switch to the lights. It's exactly what we wanted. They did such an amazing job...we are so happy with the work they did. Professional, friendly, and helpful service, from the consultation to the install. I'd recommend JDP Electric to anyone looking for an update to your existing space! We are thrilled with the results.

I had my sister play the bagpipes during the wedding party's grand entrance. Hardly conventional, but Travis and Missy rolled with it. They helped call everyone out to the dance floor and announced us, but the bagpipes were still the star of that particular section. We had also planned to do a bouquet toss, but at the last minute I couldn't find my bouquet so Travis and Missy cancelled it. They were also great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. They played some slower songs and polkas for the older couples, and kept my cousins on the dance floor until the end of the evening. They even brought little giveaways like inflatable guitars that were a hit with the kids. They were on time and got everything set up without any hassle. They acted as MCs and made all the announcements. They always checked with me to make sure they were pronouncing everyone's name right, had the right order of events, knew who was giving speeches, etc. Overall, they were great to work with, and I would definitely hire them for another event.
