My husband and I had JDP Electric install some recessed lights into our main floor living room…read more(where there previously was no lighting) and our bedroom (removed the light/chandelier). Because it's difficult to add recessed lighting "after the fact", they suggested a different kind of light...a kind of 'disc' light...it looks very similar to a recessed light, but isn't. They are perfect. Personally, I think they are better than a recessed light, because they are brighter!! They also added a dimmer switch to the lights. It's exactly what we wanted. They did such an amazing job...we are so happy with the work they did. Professional, friendly, and helpful service, from the consultation to the install. Save a huge headache and find one of them I needed help installing 2 nest thermostats into a multi-zone system. Asked them if they could come by to give a quote. They said they had a guy in my neighborhood the next day who could take a look. He stopped by for 10 minutes and said he didn't have the expertise to install it. With all that said, I was quite shocked to receive a $100 invoice a week later. After calling them up multiple times, they said they don't charge for quotes, but somehow considered this a service call?? I've worked with about a dozen contractors over the last couple of years on projects and never had a negative experience like this.
