Super cute gift shop in Coronado. Items are fairly priced & I bought some items for myself & gifts for friends back home. We spent some time in the shop before our lunch reservation and we liked the store so much that we went back after lunch to shop some more. They have super cute, unique gifts for the household, dog, cat & some jewelry & accessories too. The salespeople were super nice & helpful too.
Amazing curio shop with a wonderfully curated French focus. Although the unifying theme was Francophile, the varity of offerings ran from functional home goods, to objet d'art, to Catholic iconography, to Parisian Phantom of The Opera goth, to Papeterie offerings, to... well, just about anything you would be delighted to receive as a thoughtful gift from your most cosmopolitan of friends. The quality of all items displayed was solid - while not everything was museum like, nothing was less than well crafted, and much made by genuine artisans. Beyond the variety and quality, the price points were all beyond fair; we found nothing unworthy of the marked cost. As a final grace, the shopping experience was top-notch. What a joy to peruse such a delightful Cabinet of Curiosities, in such a uniquely aesthetic atmosphere, without any pressure at all from the staff. As a matter of fact, Derek, the staff member on duty, was nothing less than a delight to speak to. After warmly welcoming us to Francaise, and introducing himself, he left us free to explore. However, when we did need an assist, he was a passionate wealth of knowledge, and guided us effortlessly towards both what we wanted, and what complimentary items would enhance what we gravitated to - he was a pure asset.
Sophia is a great salesperson and she's beautiful and sweet! The store has a classy French aesthetic with so many products from Kitchen, Clothing, Jewelry, Outside tools etc. I love the candy and French nougats!!
Such an amazing finding in this well due visit to Coronado island! my friend and I loved every single item there and, most important, all the chic look and design glam was not accompanied with expensive tags. We found many many things that would make wonderful gifts at very reasonable prices. The store is all black and white with a French flair (even though I think I heard the owner is Belge:). I really like the designs in those whimsical coffee mugs, the fine illustrations, the moon and stars hangers and, of course, the chocolate. We ended up with some tablets with the Eiffel tower and had them beautifully wrapped. Definitively the place I want to go buy gifts with a Parisian twist for myself!
Beautiful shop. Small but mighty. A finely curated selection of very Unique, interesting, odd, practical and functional items. Definitely Something for every customer who enters. I purchased so many of my Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers from this store last year. Fabulous assortment of merchandise that you never knew you needed; until you see it here. A creative collection of accessories for your accessories- (who knew candles need jewelry?!! Well, THEY DO!!!). The Best whimsical gifts for your most discerning friends. Creative selection of cute yet functional items for the perfect house-warming or hostess gifts. Store ambiance is so calming and soothing. All around store vibe and merchandise Presentation is on point. Offers the most darling yet simple wrapping tissue and brown bags with business logo. I always say "Presentation is 9/10 of the package. Shopped in the store today and EMILY was working. (7/5/23). She was wonderful. A definitely asset to the company. She was Friendly, courteous, professional and really knows the products so well. Emily was excited to talk about the merchandise and was so helpful to us all. She answered all of our questions and included interesting information on all the products to everyone shopping, I did not need anything and wasn't planning on buying anything, just bringing a few friends in who have never been. I ended up buying something for $50 because Emily was really engaged with the guests and I felt the urge to support that exemplary behavior. Go take a peek inside and see what I'm talking about for yourself. I hate I didn't take better photos of the store for this review. I am posting the ones I took but just know I'm not proud of them.
Such a lovely shop! We were walking down Orange Ave in Coronado and had to stop in Française. I loved the French and European feel mixed with a SoCal coastal vibe. The shop has a really interesting mix of home décor, jewelry, kitchenware, candles, mirrors, accessories, gourmet foods, and other unique finds and gifts. I especially loved all the black, gold and neutral décor throughout the store. There were so many fun things to look at and examine, including some really cool lamps, mirrors, table settings and stuff for the kitchen. It is definitely the kind of place where you walk in just to browse and end up finding something you didn't know you needed. Service was friendly and attentive. Easy converse and fun to hear about the shop. Such a fun stop and absolutely recommend popping in. read more

Oh la la every single time I come to Coronado. I absolutely make a stop into this creative, sexy curio shop. It is a feast for your eyes and your senses. While waiting to have lunch at the Henry I walked in to this beautiful store to browse around. Love at first sight !!! Carefully curated quality products are sold here imported from France. The St Tropez red stripes table linen stole my heart. The quality of it was something else. I must have it. There were so many nice things to buy. Plates, candles, vases, jewelry, kitchen etc.... Prices were reasonable for the quality of the products sold here. Very unique shop. A must visit when in the area, I'm sure you will find something you love. Customer service was welcoming and friendly. Will come back again next time I'm in Coronado. read more

Stopped by on a whim looking for unique gifts for friends. I was very impressed by this store which features all kinds of interesting things from France. No uppity fan fare or over priced knick knacks. Everything is very unique and authentic. From hand made soaps, lotions, clothes and other things we will never use but might be cool as gifts for friends who will never know where it cam from. Stop by the stock changes all the time. I am looking forward to our next visit here. read more
