Azim is truly the master craftsman. He replaced the frame of a precious painting after both the canvas wood and the frame was horribly warped from humidity. What an excellent choice of frame and a flawless execution.

Great work and it came with a picture hanger.

We had a few things to be framed, 2 as a gift and one for us. We received a coupon in the mail from those coupon books thingys. We wondered up to get a price. We had prints in tow, the gentleman working there was on his way to get a sandwich for lunch but saw us walking up and turn towards the shop and he came running back to help us, right there that was pretty awesome. The 2 things as a gift were simple black frames and simple white mats but the end result was excellent. They had old post cards in them and the owner there made sure to tell me that he used acid free tape to mount them and that if I ever needed to pull the originals out they would be unharmed. Excellent. They were $75 a piece. The frame we got for us was a giant 24x36 white frame with a canvas print mounted on foam board. It is a giant map (picture attached), they dry mounted it and did a great job. This obviously doesn't have glass as it's meant to put pins in, but they did an awesome job and this giant print was only $130. They originally told us 7-10 days to be complete, they had all three done in about 4 days. Pretty impressive. All said and done they did a great job for a really reasonable price. For whatever reason Hoboken has a ton of framing places, not sure why. But, if you're in the market for a frame I would give these guys a try. They also sell pre-mounted art and a lot of Hoboken specific stuff, which is cool. While I don't anticipating needing much more framed, if I do, this will be my first stop.

I went to this place after reading the reviews....best in this whole area. I am very grateful for Yelp and the reviewers. Azim is this reason for all the great reviews. Knowledgeable, professional and a really nice person. He mostly carries framing wood from Italy. That's a whole other level of quality from the cheaper ones from China. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I took in a rolled up painting I bought in Central Park...now it's hanging as the center piece in my home.

I chose a frame, matting, and museum glass, which reduces glare and preserves the picture.

Daniela is an incredibly thoughtful and talented professional who always takes the time to understand each piece and discuss the best framing strategy. We've brought in many collectibles and signed memorabilia over the years, and every single item has come out beautifully displayed. I couldn't recommend Right Angle enough--they're simply the best in Hoboken!

They were squares, and normally (and admittedly) I'd just get some frames off of amazon for ~$50 but I couldn't find any that I liked in the dimensions that I needed. So I sucked it up and took them to Right Angle. I worked with the owner who was SO helpful and took all of the time in the world to make sure I was getting frames that both compliment each painting as well as each other, in case I wanted to hang them together one day. We ended up with two real cute end products! They make me even more proud of my paintings. While the price is up there, that is just all custom framing and I am learning that. Both pieces, each 11"x11", came out to around $300. Again, these were painted on literal cardboard garbage, so that was hard to justify. But honestly, in these beautiful new frames with their double layers of matting, you can't tell. They look expensive and I love seeing them on my walls. Both pieces took about a month, but I assured her I was in no rush to get them back by any deadline. With the amount of attention to detail that goes into each piece and the quality of customer care, you can't go wrong bringing your pieces here. No matter what they are, they'll be treated like priceless works of art worthy of beautiful frames! Thank you so much Right Angle!

I didn't really like what he picked out but that was more a matter of taste and style. It was large frame and cost $375 with a groupon made it $100 less. When I picked it up yesterday with my friend, before we left the store my friend said, "look at he corners". The frame was not finished properly and there were marks from the gold leaf in the recesses of the frame. I was not thrilled. The man in the store was not the one I originally dealt with and he fixed it up as best he could. He told me that the corner cardboard pieces they used were not professional and took the finish off of the corners because they were too tightly placed. So why do they use them? I was glad my friend was with me because the man running the store was ready to let me leave without looking at the corners (lesson learned) and had I gotten home and found it unfinished I would have been very upset. Although both shopkeepers were very nice, I would definitely NOT use them again unless it was for something small and simple.
