Extremely poor quality and sloppy cuts. I had searched online for a source of finished frame lengths. Previously, I had made my own frames using unfinished lengths. I ordered four 4' lengths. Two were unusable because the cuts were extraordinarily sloppy. It was almost as if someone broke the lengths over their knee. I wrote to their customer service. In return, I received snarky, condescending responses. I sent them over $200 for four 4' lengths. In return, I got 2 x 4' lengths and 2 x 3'6" lengths (which are useless to me) because of sloppy, careless cuts. And, not only did they take my money, I also got a bucketful of snark for my efforts! Unbelievable.
From me:
Please read my emails. I am not asking for mitered cuts. I have a chop saw. I am asking for two 4' lengths with clean cuts. That is what I paid for. Two of the four lengths you sent were usable. Two were not.

Lengths are not mitered. They come with straight cuts on a chop saw. We cannot send length with mitered edges. We can send a chop, this will come with mitered edges. These are mitered on a finishing saw.
We cannot send 2, 4' lengths as they will be received in the same conditions the other sticks did.
We do understand that blades do dull, that is why we asked for additional photos, showing all ends of the moulding. But based off the pictures you have sent, this is how length moulding comes. One end will be rougher than the other. We recommend ordering the length longer than the end overall size of the frames, as the ends will need to be mitered.
Based on the information we have, we have offered a chop that will have the miters you have mentioned. I do apologize that the length moulding did not work out as intended for your needs.
Thank You,

Mercedes: That is not helpful. I have a miter saw. I paid for 2 4ft lengths to be mitered, not 2 3'6" lengths of usable material. Even with a miter cut, the last 2-3 inches were unusable.
On the other lengths, I could clearly see which cuts came from the factory-- perhaps the last 1/4 inch were unusable and which cuts were just unnecessarily sloppy. Just carelessly done. I want two usable 4' lengths-- which is nothing more than I paid for.

Hi XXX,
Thank you for reaching out, here is what we can do -
Based off the information provided, it looks like you were not looking for length moulding which is what was purchased. Length moulding is purchased to ultimately be cut to size by the buyer to create a picture frame. You have stated that every inch of the moulding was needed, but this cannot be with length moulding, as the ends need to be mitered to create the 45-degree angle to put the frames together. We offer the frames already mitered with a finishing saw at 45-degree angles, these are our custom chops. Length moulding orders are only cut once, to the specified length, with a chop saw.
We can offer you a chop of the moulding, as this will fit your needs for needing all the frame and having the cleaner miters as the custom cut chops go through a different saw. We would ask the difference to be paid for the chop as you have already purchased the length that seems like will not work for your project. Total of the custom cut frame (at 48" x 48") comes to $354.76, minus the $176.80 paid for the length, we could send the chop out to you for $177.96 + shipping.
If this option works, let us know and confirm sizing, and we will send the order out.
Thanks!
Thank You,
Mercedes Brown
