When I received the order I saw the cost of each item and called the company to explain what appeared to be a rediculus price for a paper mat. Their responce was they had to use a full sheet of mat paper and custum cut a hole in it. This is just one item of several other items which I have discoverd where over priced. In order to check out my concern I obtained prices from Frame It Easy . Their price for the same items was $ 92.20 compared t0 $233.46. Another item in my purchase was for a 16x20 frame set like the 20x26. Framing 4 Yourself was $157.88 compared to Fame it Easy price for $72.61. I have mixed results with Framing4yourelf. Overall, they're decent, but the last cut to length…read moreframe ordered did not line up very well when assembled leaving visible raised edges at the corners of the frame. I get that some of this is probably assembly technique, but it isn't as easy as advertised. The finish of the moulding also rubs off amazingly easily. Very expensive prices for low quality plastic coated "wood" (sawdust + glue) mouldings.

This is a nice place and they do really nice work here…read more I've had four pieces framed here. 1 small print, 2 medium sized paintings, and 1 large painting. The largest painting had a lot of texture that required special attention. It was more expensive than just buying my own frames but they did a bunch of preparation work for paintings. One of them wasn't square and they squared it up for me. The service was great and timely.
