LIFETIME CUSTOMER I've gotten my nails and toes done here for years. I get gel pedicures and acrylic nails. Great service & they always do a great job. My toe polish rarely chips & never peels off (issues I've had elsewhere). My nails never come off and Holly always asks if I like the length and shape before doing the full set. They have a lot of return-customers, so they do get very booked up. I try to plan my appointments in advanced but when I need to change or cancel, they always try their best to fit me in ASAP. They recently started to close the salon on Mondays, so that they could provide their staff with 2 full days off (Sunday and Monday). I respect companies that give their employees the time off that they deserve. read more

I've been there twice to the same guy (not by request) and he paints above the cuticle enough that in a few days it looks like they have 3 weeks of regrowth. even after requesting to paint closer to the cuticle, it was still bad. after just 1 1/2 weeks my nails look horrible and needed to be done again. read more

Can I give a zero? I would. Yesterday went in for mani/pedi. Both were done by spiteful people. Both pretended they couldn't understand english. When I asked for special attention to my heels, would not respond or do anything more than what they wanted to do. After my complaining about my heels and the shoddy job they switched to another person. She rubbed my arm so hard during the massage portion of the mani that she bruised me. (If you look closely at the photo you will see an inner bruise that was already there....she was trying to hurt it further by concentrating on this area). All this was because I was vocal about the treatment. Would definitely advise you do NOT go to the salon. It is an unpleasant experience in the making. I'd rather give my dollars to an establishment who treat customers with respect. There is none here to be given. read more

I was in town visiting my son and daughter in law and wanted to take her for a mani pedi so decided to try Foxy. The place is clean and pleasant but the man that did my service had a terrible attitude, he acted like he was doing me a favor. I made specific requests about my service to him which he didn't understand so I told the manager and he completely ignored my preferences. This is a place that could be great if you get the right operator or terrible if you get the guy I had. I honestly left with my hands worse than when I arrived, had to go buy cuticle repair cream! My mom, sister (who were visiting from out of town for Easter 2019) and I came here after another nail salon in Providence that I thought I liked was acting kind of rude about scheduling an appointment for us (I will say, we were kind of looking to get in last minute but there were other contributing factors but that is for another review at another time) This salon though!!! Had so many people working which was wonderful because they got us in pretty much right away, the atmosphere is clean and pleasing. Staff were pretty friendly, especially Haley who did my pedicure. Seriously avoid this place at all costs was a terrible experience.. When I first went in they started drilling my old acrylic off. They didn't even soak it or try any other method! So my nails were now hurting and super thin. Then when they started on the color they didn't even use the one I picked out. They just grabbed a similar color out of there drawer and put it on, putting 3 layers of color on and no top coat. When I questioned them about it they said this kind of polish doesn't need a top coat.... Ok... So 3 days later my nails start chipping and the 3rd layer is flaking off.. Got a shellac pedicure, I was disappointed that the lady didn't massage my feet like she did my friend who just got a cheap polish change even though I mentioned it. As a result if the pedicure, I got an infection on my toe then a few weeks later got an ingrown toenail on the same toe from the way she cut it! read more

Here's the problem I have with this place. Number 1 if they remove your nails they don't soak them off, they rip them off , second, I've been there and seen them not clean the tubs for the required time ( 10 minutes) in between clients. They don't clean the tables in between clients and ... Third, why are nail techs waxing eye brows! They are not licensed for that! Fourth, when they do the shellac, don't use all shellac polishes. They use gel polishes that ruin your nails. read more

I came in, everything was great until the lady started glueing on my nails, they were on all crooked. She continued to do them, she put the acrylic on and it didn't fill in all of my nail, it was uneven and the length of the nails are not all the same. Great place! I am very picky where I get my nails done because I like to know that they make me feel comfortable and an enjoyable thing to do. She took her time on my nails and did a great job. I am very picky with the nail salons painting my whole nails and making sure that they are clean and painted nicely. Foxy nails made sure to do that and I didn't even have to ask. Came here with a friend for a quick pedicure. They were able to squeeze us in with an appointment same day. The pedicure wasn't anything special (no hot rocks, no sugar scrub etc) and the ladies doing our pedis were not thrilled we wanted shlack nail polish. Before having the color put on, they made us move to separate nail stations to use the UV light. The lady doing my friend's pedi left her half way through the UV set up process to go start another pedicure then set her light too long and fried the tops of her toes as she was left unattended. My biggest problem was they could not properly remove my acrylic nails that they had put on. The guy used his finger nail trying to rip them off without even soaking them. And when that didn't work he drilled until he was drilling my real nail and it burned. It is very clear that they should not be offering that service since they haven't been trained on the maintainer part of the service. They also have a very limited selection of color powder that you can chose from, of which only 2 or 3 don't have glitter. read more

My wife went here. While the pedicure was fine, they don't accept credit card! Only debit and cash. Oh wait, their debit card machine doesn't work. So you have to walk to lee's to get cash to pay for it. So really this is a cash only place. Would be a 4 star if they could get it together. read more
