The Pinterest picture is what I asked for and the other two pictures are what I walked out with ! This was only about 4 or 5 days ago and my nails are already chipping off!! Went in for a simple pedicure and the lady cut into the side of my girlfriends toe, claiming it was an ingrown but it was not. She has never had them. And my girlfriend told her that. Nice people, horrible pedicures. My daughter and I needed a quick pedi before the week started. After being pushed to upgrade, I was told there would be and extra charge for removing gel from my previous pedicure. The lady walked away after 10 mins into my daughter's pedicure, leaving lotion on her legs for 20 mins to service someone else. The guy doing mine was so busy watching tv, he dry scrubbed my legs with exfoliating salt and no water. Ouch! What they call the deluxe is equivalent to an express pedi anywhere else. When he started he pulled out the fake nail set and I(13) clearly told him that I just wanted acrylic on top of my natural nails, and I don't know if he could hear me or not or like he didn't understand me, but he just laughed. Then my sister (20 something) came and told him and he did it right. She told him that that's not what I wanted and asked him if I had told him I didn't want fake nails and he said no, which he toatally knew I said yes. When he did the acrylics, he filed them very slanted and he hurt me many times. I do not recommend that place but go ahead if you don't like explaining things with pears and not apples. After losing a bet with both daughter and my wife, I had to follow through and have a pedicure. Since my last one was painful, I was apprehensive about having another one. This location was located in the mall, and it is a fairly large operation. Once you enter, 10-15 pedicure chairs live the wall with several cabinets filled with polish. Since my daughter called ahead to check their status, we did not expect to wait and we didn't. When we arrived, We were directed toward our chairs and the pedicure experience had begun. First, they lined each basin with a plastic bag, and then added scolding water- my feet are sensitive, my wife said it was okay. Then, the ladies washed, scraped and cut the nails as the chairs messaged our backs. A foot massage and exfoliators and moisturizers followed which actually ended a very pleasant and relaxing experience! Finally, even though I lost a bet, a pedicure was needed and took the opportunity to have one done. It was very relaxing and my feet feel good! read more

They do not use towels or paper towels when they are working on your hands; there is a powdery substance on every surface - including YOU, when you're getting a fill or a new set. The guy that did my fill dusted off his work-space before he dusted off my hands....with the same brush...Repeatedly. Our toes were bleeding from careless nicks and cuts after our pedicures. I went for a pedicure worth my daughter and her friend. I told the lady at the beginning no lotion. I am allergic to dimethicone. Not only did she apply lotion and say it was cream, she wouldn't wash it off. My daughter had to yell after I told her to wash it off. Then she applied the actual lotion. I wanted a simple manicure and the lady was so careless. She was scraping my skin off and I was bleeding for a good 5 minutes. I've gotten my nails done plenty of times and I shouldn't have to leave the nail salon with a huge scab on my finger. Very disappointed in customer service. Initially the service was great then on a return visit it was not as good as the first. Despite that I did go back a third time and brought a friend. The entire time we were "in the chair" our manicurist was so busy ushering in the next customer and was really distracted and did a terrible job. Bad clips, jagged edges, and real inconsistencies. I came here for a fill and cut down. I walk in and am immediately asked to sit. Not 5 minutes into the process, a customer walks in and says she would like to wait for the man doing my nails. Halfway through another woman does the same thing, but he told her he already had a customer waiting. He must be good! I'm noticing today, a day after, that there are a couple of bubbles but since it is just a fill and I'm happy to not have talons anymore, I'm not too worried about it. Honestly, I think he started to rush a bit since he knew someone was waiting. They have a card with prices but some of them are whited out. For instance, he charged me $27 for a fill and cut down. The fill is clearly $20 for glitter tips but $7 to cut down? I don't see how this could be more than full set of acrylics costs, purely based on the time taken. Did he just make up whatever price he wanted? I'm not sure. I would like to go to a place that has clear prices, so I know what I'm agreeing to pay. read more

Stopped in here because the mall location seemed convenient. I requested a fill. The place seemed kind of grimy and the service was WORST than terrible. Like the only other review for this establishment, I have bubbles in the topcoat, which the tech baked on because she said that they don't buff. She said that a gel overlay is what they do, instead of buffing. When paying, I was charged $8 extra, for a service I didn't even request. They make up prices at check out and the whole thing seemed pretty shady. I fully intend to dispute the charge on my credit card. read more

Was upset and never was told sorry or never offered to make it right! When i left he swipped my card twice and charged my account twice! I have been going to Foxy Nails for over 6 years and love these caring professionals who love their customers! My husband works for the Texas Dept. Of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) and has had pedicures here himself. Believe me, if they didn't follow the proper cleaning and care procedures, they would have been advised immediately. I have always had exceptional care from Foxy Nails, and always get a full set of nails with intricate designs. Kevin (who always does a super job) has a real talent and listens to you and will actually look at a photo and match your design perfectly. He's that good! I personally don't believe some of these other reviews, because I see way too many repeat customers like myself who always return year after year. Just go see for yourself. It is a very clean, sanitary place and they treat you like a queen! I won't go anywhere else -- this is my nail salon, and I know all operators are licensed properly and have passed all state Regulations. This is my husband's job, to ensure regs are met or licenses are lost as a consequence. It just doesn't happen here. I really hate the negativity I see posted here. It's so unfair to these fantastic professionals! I could go anywhere to have my nails done, but I can't beat Foxy Nails! Six years and still loving it! So many compliments on my nails all the time. I did not go in for services, I was actually waiting for my tech at Just Strings, so I waited outside and was watching how this salon services the clients, 3 clients in the pedicure chairs getting pedis, one client gets out and the tech walks her to sit down for her feet to go under the uv lamp, she then walks away and goes straight to the back, comes out to pick up her basket and move it to her desk, walks around and then gets a client that walked in to go sit in the same pedicure chair that her previous client was in.... Nooooo, the tech never washed nor properly cleaned the tub with jets&never cleaned the client massage chair either. Those foot rubs are supposed to be cleaned with soap and water then immersed in EPA for 10 min with the whirlpool cycling on and that massage chair it's supposed to be wiped down as well with EPA. They failed to do that and just took the next client and put her feet in the tub where she had just previously did a pedicure. I started to go in to comfort them and to tell the client but my hubby stopped me and told me to stay out of it, so of course I'm going to leave a review to let everyone know that reads this that this spa does not have proper sanitation and this is why fungus, bacteria and athletes foot is transferred around and many more diseases. This place is the worst ! I tried this place out because the lady I usually go to was extremely busy. So I went to rolling oaks mall remembering they was a nail salon there, as soon as I walked in a lady started guiding me to a seat and started doing my nails. Throughout the process she kept trying to push me to get extra things for more money. I kept denying and she seemed frustrated. At one point I asked her if she could make my nails a little more narrow because they seemed a bit too fanned out and she was like okay 5 dollars more. That's the stupidest thing ever ! But whatever she started to Bonaire them out and did a terrible job so I told her I didn't like certain nails she made and told her to redo them she then proceeded to cut them off with aggression and started just saying probably the worst things about me in her language to another lady next to her, which I though was extremely rude. Let me start by saying, I've been getting pedicures for about 10 years now. I take good care of my feet and am a 52 year old "in shape" man. This place does use the plastic liner, but the good news ends there. The lady I got was some kind of angry person. She kept twisting my big toes in attempts to lift my feet to the point where I was afraid they was going to break them(my toes). She cut my feet to the point of bleeding in 3 places. She left 2 of my toenails pretty much unclipped and untouched, and missed the whole backside of my feet with the cheese grater decallousing thing. Now, don't get me wrong, I expect a little pain with a pedicure, but this was the worst, BY FAR, in the 10 years I've been getting them. My wife was put through so much pain with her fill and pedi she was almost in tears. I felt horrible for her and did my best to take care of her the rest of the day. All this pain and sub par results came at a high monetary cost too. 2 pedis, and a solar fill for $118 plus tip???? This place is the new level of bad. I highly recommend going somewhere else. Anywhere else. I'd give it 1/10 star if it were an option. Worst $118+ I've EVER spent. DON'T GO THERE!! I just looked at their online price list. Looks like they overcharged us by $23 as well. I rarely post any comments about anything but I have to make an exception now. I had a set of nails put on several weeks ago by Foxy Nail. They were fine. Just had a fill done and I have some kind of infection! I have had nails put on and off over 10 years. Never had this happen! I thought it odd after preparing the nail that she didn't tell me to wash my hands. She just used that big fluffy pink brush to wipe the grit around then proceeded with the fill. I should have said something but I never like to rock the boat. My fingers didn't feel right when I got home. This morning my skin around the nails is extremely puffy. Going to have them remove somewhere else today or go to the Med Clinic if they get worse!! read more
