If you're in the area and need a nice threading salon, I'd definitely give this one a try...instead of the kiosks that have you sitting out in the middle of the mall so everyone can breathe on and gawk at you.

At one point the undiagnosed infection grew to the size of a golfball. I tend to have a high pain tolerance and my go-to method of hair removal was brazilian wax and tweezing for underarms. The laser they use here apparently is one of the newest tech out. It doesn't hurt at all. Sara did a great job on constantly asking if I was doing okay and adjusting the laser intensity accordingly to my tolerance. Even when I was on my monthly cycle, Sara did a great job making me feel comfortable and working efficiently. (Just make sure you wear a tampon and take a shower before your appointment) The staff here does an amazing job at picking up their phones. They use online booking system to track appointments, sending forms you need to fill out before each session and processing payment. If you need to reschedule or want to come in earlier, they do a great job about being flexible and fitting you in. For underarms + brazilian laser hair removal, it always takes about 15-20min. They keep the facility very clean and very private. I have light skin tone with black hair so the laser was VERY EFFECTIVE on me. even after 1 session I had 80% reduction in hair growth! *If you have dark skin and dark hair or light skin and light colored hair the laser may not work so well on you bc the laser is shooting at PIGMENT so just keep that in mind before considering laser treatment!!! *

The location was kinda confusing to me, I swear I went into the wrong driveway at least three times trying to find the place (I blame the GPS). Once I finally found the spot, the salon appeared clean and I was immediately greeted by Ana. She had me go online to the salon's website to fill out the waiver so if you haven't done this save yourself some time and do it ahead of time if possible! Ana then proceeded to explain the sugaring process to me since this was my first time. To my surprise there was a special going on so my wax was cheaper than the originally booked price! Yay! I love news like that! Since this was my first time, my body went through the same things it did when I got my first Brazilian wax. Honestly it wasn't as bad, just a new process to get used to. I am looking forward to my next appointment. Ana recommended every 4 weeks. She made me feel really comfortable and could not stop telling me all of the good things about sugaring.
