It doesn't hurt either I almost fell asleep during the process and during my touch up. If you make sure to keep your brows hydrated you won't really scab either. Also make sure you do your touch up! It'll be 6 weeks or so after your first appointment and it will just make sure everything is even more perfect. Madison is the best. I was nervous about getting my eyeliner done, even though I have numerous tattoos. She was personable, and put me at ease immediately. She offered advice and personal experience, and I found her to be open and honest. She explained the entire process before she got to work, and even applied a topical anesthetic, which made the tattoo so much easier to experience. She was patient and kind, and took her time to get to know me and what exactly I wanted. When I asked for additional work after her initial tattooing, she was kind and understanding, and did exactly what I asked. I got permanent eyeliner with Madmakeup. She did not ever make me feel comfortable during the service at all which you would want when doing something like this. The eyeliner migrated leaving what looks like smeared eyeliner. It's called pigment migration. When I sent Mariella the pictures she said that the only way to fix it would be to remove it and also that I had to pay for this service. Now who wants to spend $350 on something permanent that is messed up and then pay to fix it? After a few messages she refunded me $50 (wow) and refused to do the removal or touch-up service. I came in to see Madison to tattoo my eyebrows. I was scared because I didn't want my eyebrows to look like a sharpie on my face. but Madison made me feel comfortable and showed me many pictures of her work that she has done and she did the hair stroke method on my eyebrows and matched my hair color. I was very happy with the results and I'm definitely going back to do my touch up. I am scheduling another seating for I can do my eyeliner on both top and bottom of my eyelids and I am pretty confident that she will do a wonderful job. she took the time to pencil in my eyebrows to a shape that would accentuate my features and balance my eyes. So I did my eyebrows and my eyeliner (at different times) along with both touch ups. In the very beginning, I was afraid to go to work because I thought my skin would be red, swollen, or the tattoo would be too dark but it was completely fine! You don't have to take off work for this, just remember to apply the ointment (which Madison provides) every 2 hours. Madison is amazing. She really listens and knows what she's doing. She cares and makes sure you are completely happy with the result. If your eyebrows or eyeliner come out too light or have a small gap or something, don't freak out. It's part of the healing process and that's what the touch up appointment is for. She'll explain this during your consult. I highly recommend this place :) read more

Today I had the best experience with Madison! My appointment was to have permanent eyebrows tattooed over an existing tattoo, to have a more natural look. At my visit she showed me the natural shape of my eyebrows, and how far off my tattoo was from my natrual shape. I had no idea why I hadn't been completely happy with them! She was able to educate me, and realized why I have probably been unhappy with my eyebrow shape. She went over options with me as to how to achieve that result, which was to have the current tattoo removed, wait to heal, and tattoo the eyebrows with a more natural shape. The tattoo removal was comfortable with the numbing creme. I really appreciate the time that Madison took to offer her opinion, which ultimately ended up being the path I chose for my permanent makeup. I am not educated nor skilled with eyebrows, that was the sole purpose of my visit. I feel relieved that I can entrust my eyebrows to her. I haven't had my my permanent makeup done yet, but I am looking forward to the healing process, and very happy that I made the decision to have my 'BAD' makeup fixed by Madison at 'MAD MAKEUP'! read more

I can't begin to state the wonderful experience I had. I wanted eyeliner on my top lids. Was scared about the degree of pain involved and the quality of the work, not to mention the proximity to my eye! No worries on any front. The facility is clean, well organized, friendly and comforting. They use a deadening topical agent that works VERY well and then inject a minute amount along the tattoo line before they work and after that, there's NO PAIN. The lining work is exquisite and precise. MARIELA was my technician and she was wonderfully calming and communicative (telling me what she was doing all along the way). Although I only made an appointment for my upper lids, I was so impressed with the natural-looking effect, that I had her do my lower lids as well. Mariela has been doing this for a quite some time so she knows what she is doing. I will returning for my color booster appointment in a month and a half and may have her do my eyebrows then as well. My experience proved to be safe, relaxing and an extreme, time-saving benefit.....not to mention a value! Steer clear, it's your face!! I would give zero stars if I could. Mariela drew nice outlines for my brows before microblading them but then put them quite a bit above the outline. The left one is substantially higher than the right, and the shapes are dissimilar. I only wanted my brows filled in, but I now have thick, uneven caterpillar brows. I expressed my displeasure, and she said they would thin out and become more even as they healed. I contacted her after they had healed to let her know they were still thick and uneven. Mariela agreed to remove them free of charge, but then she stopped responding to me when it came time to actually schedule the appointment. The microblading cannot be removed by laser tattoo removal places (I went to two and talked to several on the phone). I will now have to pay over $1000 to have them surgically corrected by a plastic surgeon. I would VERY strongly advise getting your brows microbladed elsewhere!!!!!!!! read more

I did my eyeliner top and bottom, went back 4 times to do a touch up and it still did not come out right. My wing on one side of my eyeliner was up, and the other side of the wing was down. Both sides are suppose to be the same. When you do a tattoo which I have had done many times before it only takes one time not 4 times. To me all they want is your money so you keep coming back and they keep making money off of you.Plus there is no GUARRANTED on mistakes they do on you. So I will never ever be going there again now I have to find someone else to fix the mess up they did.Which I have to pay again. You get what you pay for it's better to pay more than pay cheap. You will be sorry I wish I never went there. Wasted my money be careful where you go. Someone asked me where I went to fix my mistake. I have not gone yet but I will be paying about 400.00 to 500.00 to a professional not 250.00.Better be safe than sorry. It's worth it beleve me been there and done that. read more
