I…read moreremain impressed with the variety, quality, and price of the herbs, flowers, trees, and shrubs that are available for purchase here. They also sell a limited variety of fresh vegetables (tomatoes are usually available), honey, and BBQ sauce. Service is friendly and top notch. Most often, we chat with Jim or Angela and give them an idea of what we want. They happily show us what they have that fits, and quote us a fair price. If we buy a bunch of plants, they'll send someone out to help load our car. When we buy larger trees, they have a guy that delivers for a reasonable price. They get pretty busy with customers, but if you catch them at a slow moment, Jim is often good for sharing a story or two. The plants they stock do change from time to time, so you can find a variety just by stopping by every week or two. If you see something you like, definitely buy as much as you think you'll need, because when you come back tomorrow to pick up "just a few more", they'll probably have been cleaned out by other customers, and you'll have to wait for a new shipment. They're not open all year long, though. They're usually closed during the hottest and coldest parts of the year here in Jax, when you're probably not going to be planting much anyway.

The plants were strong, healthy and vibrant, too. Williams Nursery has a wide variety of plants and flowers and because they were so nice I will surely patronize them in the future.

I went to neighbors to get more business for him. I was shocked and almost cried when he told me he put down 285 bales at $1960 in my front yard. His truck was still loaded with pine straw. After my very first delivery on Mothers Day from Southern Grace being flowers that died the very…read morenext day I would not have used them again. However, Ace Hardwares amazing Florist has closed its doors and my husband decided to try Southern Grace again due to their proximity to our house. While Ace hardware had FREE delivery within so many miles, Southern Grace is much closer to us and there was a $15 delivery fee. I do hope they will consider adjusting delivery fees based on location of delivery. The flowers my husband had sent to me were absolutely beautiful. We have to be very careful due to us having cats and he made sure to mention no lilies. The flowers were beautiful the day they were delivered as well as 4 days later they still look fabulous. I am not sure what he paid for them to determine value, but I do know that the $15 delivery fee was a bit excessive for a 2.5 mile delivery. I do hope they learn from the bad reviews and throw out or donate flowers that are borderline, rather than put them in bouquets people pay top dollar for.

I submitted a request through Yelp Projects, and several companies responded. I LOVE this feature! The first company I contacted through Facebook Marketplace quoted me $1,270! I told them I wasn't about to let them bust me up and leave me leaking! After scheduling a few appointments through Yelp, C&L came out at 1:30 p.m. and sent Damien. He assessed the situation, gave me a fair price, and I accepted on the spot. I canceled my other appointments because I knew I had found the right person. Let me tell you, this young man has SKILLS! I watched him work, and this guy is a PRO! He got everything squared away faster than he originally estimated, used less equipment than expected, AND still had time to fine-tune my sprinklers. Damien didn't just do the job; he took pride in his work and made sure everything was taken care of. That kind of service deserves recognition! C&L, give this man a raise! Better yet, make him a trainer and have him teach your team how to deliver that same level of service. If you keep employees like Damien on your team, you'll never be short on customers!
