Yelp connected me with this contractor to repair my irrigation system that had been damaged by a…read morepool installation. The first company quoted $2100 to re-do the system. Mikey came out and said that wasn't necessary, that he would charge $150/hr and could fix it in a couple of hours...6 days (most of which he showed up in the evening and staid until late into the night) and $3,450.00 later, this is what he left me with. He said he would come back and fix it, but after seeing the entirety of what he did, I don't want him back on my property to do more damage and leave more mess. The system not only looks crudely constructed, it doesn't work at all. I had the company installing my sod send their irrigation guy out to assess what would be needed to repair it properly, and yep, the whole job needs to be ripped out and re-done. I requested a full refund of what I paid as I now have to pay again for the labor and parts, but Mikey is unwilling to do that. I am asking Yelp to honor their $2,500 guarantee and will be filing suit in small claims court for the remaining $950. I can't reply to your reply, Michael, but as you are the 'contractor' and the person that did this work, you know that you have been telling me you would be out since July 27th, the day after you finished the work. It is not my job to tell you to come clean up the job site and fix the shoddy job, though I've been requesting such since August 12th.

These guys are amazing! I was home when they descended on the property and did the most incredible…read morejob I'd ever seen. I just moved to Nocatee, and this was the first time I'd ever used the company. Four guys came out of the truck at 3 PM on a 95-degree day with energy and positive looks on their faces that I could never have anticipated. One guy mowing the back, one in front, one with the edger, and one with the blower. Once the grass looked great, they started looking for weeds to pull, branches to trim, etc. I could not have been more impressed, and I look forward to a long, successful relationship with this locally owned and operated team.

All American Curbing is one of those businesses that get everything right. 1. They communicate…read morewell. 2. They give you options and ideas for your project. 3. And really most importantly you get the job done on the day they said they would and it's done exactly as you asked for and exactly as they described. Ron and his team work together and are so good at what they do. They are trustworthy and professional. They honor veterans with a discount and do not take payment until the job is done and done right. Luckily these guys know what they are doing so we were more than happy to pay them for a job well done and we're even happier that they started and finished exactly when they said they would be done. I will post a pic of my project as soon as I am done installing the plants and stone so everyone can see what a great job they do. Finally a business that gets everything right!

After years of home improvements, it was finally time for us to move outside and have our yard…read moredone. Our yard was in a sad state with drainage issues, high spots throughout, and mostly consisted of sand and weeds. We called Austin at Grandscapes because he did a great job on our neighbor's yard. After getting several quotes we decided to go with Grandscapes because they gave us the best price and we knew their work. They spent the better part of a week tearing out old beds, removing old grass/weeds, grading the lawn, laying sod, and putting out mulch. Austin even did a few small things we added in at the last minute. These guys were incredibly hard workers, personable, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and my yard is finally something to be proud of. Since I have had a lot of experience with workers in our home improvement endeavors I feel like I can say without a doubt this is one of the best companies I have worked with.

My family and myself would not recommend River Oaks Outdoors professional services. Will is a…read morefriendly and receptive person, and we trusted him with our home, but we ran into issues from the very beginning of our backyard project; from communication issues between Will and his team, to lack of landscape knowledge/experience, and poor execution. After the River Oaks Outdoor team "completed" our project we found the job was not completed as laid out in the contract. Unfortunately, we were asked to pay more money to complete the project correctly, but could only afford to correct part of the yard. River Oaks Outdoor took no responsibility in proactively correcting their work and offered no apology for their cut corners. Its sad to say that we took a chance on a local company we thought were trustworthy and would value us as a client, but found only the opposite to be true.
