The fish dinner was at least 50% of batter and much less fish. The batter was very dark and too hard to chew. Seemed burnt to me. The fries were also very dark but, most that I tried were not completely cooked, I.e. raw potato. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was for sure a frozen patty instead of a "real" or fresh piece of chicken. This trip to Carson's was a great disappointment for dinner. So again, I have to ask, what has happened to Carson's? To me this is a sign that owners/management have taken a road to cheapness of product.

Another Valley Dairy in western PA…read more.. ...And another good meal and solid service. This wasn't our first choice for dinner out this 4th of July evening. Our first choice was plain closed. But Leo and behold, in the same strip mall we find this town's Valley Dairy. Supposedly only a year old, the inside is brightly but warmly decorated, kinda reminds me of the Valley Dairy my wife and I use to take our kids when they were younger. The food as always is solid if not spectacular and the service at this place was exceptional. I had my first banana split in years and it was delicious. Not sure if I'll ever be through here again but I won't hesitate if I do. (The locals should give this place a shot.
