I have not actually been to the Quickies Subs location, but have had their subs twice from Helltown…read moreBrewing. Our first time, we all got Italian hoagies. They were good. Lots of meat on a fresh roll. We tried the tuna our next time around and bang! It was one of the best tuna subs I have eaten. The owners are two friendly guys that take their product to Helltown to get the word out. I would like to go to their actual place next time I am in the Woodland Hills area.

The turkey was loaded…read morewith good stuff - they add sweet pickles which I normally don't like but on those sandwiches it makes it really pop. We ordered the sandwich without dressing, in the future I'd get mayo or oil and vinegar. Good sandwich even dry. The slugger is meatball with crumbled hot sausage and banana peppers. Great sandwich! Spicy, flavorful, hot, with a shot of flavor every time there's a banana pepper bite. The star of the meal tho was the potato salad. I think I tasted pickle juice and mustard in the wet part of the salad, and they also added bacon. I kept picking at the potato salad even though I was stuffed, it's so good! I'm glad this place opened close, I'll be back for sure, and will def try out different sandwiches next time too. Oh yeah, Mancini's buns! Yum! But be careful, the soporific effect of these buns is not to be underestimated.

First time visit to Ravaila's. Arrived at 5:00 on a Saturday. A lot of cars in the parking lot. I…read moretook as a good sign. Once inside, I noted how the servers and hostesses were all busy clearing tables and serving guests. After a very short wait, we were seated and the hostess took our drink order. Soon our server, Alondra, appeared to take our orders. Hot turkey dinner and hot roast beef dinner with onion rings. The menu had a large variety of food and we were watching the food coming out of the kitchen. The stuffed green peppers, pizza and burgers all looked good. Soon, our dinners arrived and looking/smelling good. Shortly after receiving dinners, our server, Alondra, checked in with us to ensure we were satisfied with dinner and refilling beverages. The roast beef and turkey dinners both had a good amount food. Mashed potatoes and a lot of gravy were a good accent. After dinner, we noticed the chalkboard dessert selections of deluxe carrot cake. We asked what "deluxe" carrot cake was? She told us it's the pineapple filling. Immediately, we ordered one piece and was not disappointed. We recommend this restaurant.

Either way there weren't to many of them in the Stromboli. Was also very skimpy on onions. One more chance. Third time will be the charm and we will be done here

The third style of business, that I can recall, in the last 20+ years, and just like the others,…read morethis will likely go away in time. Typical of Brewpubs, beer and mediocre meals. First, the beer. I have had much better, though the double bock and the Doc Brown Ale were the best with the double bock being a little too sweet. At 7 bucks a pint, it is the average price. This place won't attract me for beer alone. The menu is rather simple in terms of selections which should offer an opportunity to excel with food, thus keeping people returning. I found what I tried to be rather bland and typical of brewpubs. Smashburger. Bland, though I suspect the tomato jam and roasted garlic mayo were supposed to give the flavor depth. I wish I could have tasted these separately to fully analyze. At 16.26, I can find better. I tried the blue cheese salad dressing and was disappointed. It was like eating sour cream with a hint of blue cheese. This is so easy to make and taste good. The hand beer battered cod was also bland. Just not impressed. The fresh cut fries are typical of fresh fries. Not great. If you're willing to put time in it, you can make great fries. Overall, the menu selections could be better. I would think a nice steak salad or something like that may do well. The steak pinsa is the closest, I guess, but would be better with a salad. The service was mediocre even though our server was friendly. When you emphasize beer, tis best to visit often to see if the customer would like another. Don't wait until the meal is nearly finished. Will I be back? I want to try a few other dishes to get a more complete idea of this place, but I can see this place fading away like the others that come and go.

Really was looking forward to coming here with seeing several people post online about it…read more We went up on a Saturday evening without reservations which I'm not sure they take. To my luck and delight, there was live music blaring upon entry. We were sat near the bathrooms and kitchen and put in our drink order. I want to mention they were kind of busy but not swamped, and it took a lot of time in between seating to greeting to drink delivery to ordering to food to dessert to check. In fact, I didn't see much of our waitress out and about at all - blonde with a lot of energy. She was nice but very spotty in checking on us. We ordered the pretzels and cheese for an appetizer to start. They were ok. For my meal I got the pit beef sandwich which came with a horseradish sauce. The time between the ordering to appetizer to meal was LONG. The manager or owner who brought out the meals realized I was getting pissed and tried to smooth things over. Problem was the sandwich was very dry. Pit beef should have some juiciness to it, but honestly it was really dry. The horseradish sauce was nice but had evaporated into the bun - probably from sitting back in the window for 15 minutes without coming out. The best part of the meal was the dessert which was a French dish I can't remember but is pictured. Cold dessert covered in icing and layered inside. It was very good and light Overall it was ok. I'd like to try again but man the waiting for food when it's not very busy thing is a big pet peeve of mine.
