My wife and I are renovating our basement and we came here to shop for bath fixtures and a bath tub. We met with a sales associate who was pleasant and somewhat helpful. But, I don't feel she did much in terms of service besides walking us around to the fixtures, pointing at them and, well, that's about it. We could have done that ourselves. Anyway, we told her all the items we wanted, including a $5000 bath tub. In total, we had about $12,000 in our 'cart'. We went home to confirm we had everything we needed. In the meantime, I decided to price compare before we pulled the trigger. Literally every single item we had in our cart could be found SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper elsewhere. So much so that when I told my wife the prices I was seeing, she couldn't believe it. After finding every item at Home Depot, Amazon, Kohler, etc, the difference was about $3700 in savings. Not only the fact that they are waaaaaaayyyyyyy overpriced, the sales associate was completely unresponsive to any email correspondence I sent her. I asked her questions multiple times through email and she just never responded. Surprising but after the price comparison, I never planned on buying from them anyway. If you're in the area, it's a nice place to go to look around, see things in person, be inspired, but as far as purchasing, you can find better deals anywhere else. I really can't understand how they justify their pricing when we live in a world where looking up competitor prices is literally at our fingertips.

Finding the bulb for this lamp has been a time-consuming affair over the years, with few options (including Internet retailers). I have been able to find the replacement bulbs at Alpa Lighting since they opened. This unique little store carries a huge number of bulbs, and tons of lamps, indoor and outside lighting and accessories. I'm glad they're around, BUT two stars get taken off from this yelp rating because they don't take bulbs purchased there back for recycling.

Picked out a Savoy House brand and as I was waiting for the paperwork I was asked by 2 others staff member if I needed any help. You have to pick up your purchase around the back where the warehouse is located. One of the staff brought the ceiling fan out to my vehicle and loaded for me. I guess I visited at the right time, the staff received some additional training or the customer was just an @$$. My only criticism was that many of the ceiling fans I liked on display was on back order otherwise they would had gotten 5 stars.

First I'll start by stating Chris from Atlanta Irrigation Services is very respectful of our time…read more I made an appointment and although the company is located on the opposite side of the city he showed up with flags in hand on time. We walked the property together and he was able to explain the entire process. I was skeptical as I've had several estimates from Facebook Marketplace and such sites that require upfront payment before any work is to begin. This was not the case with Atlanta Irrigation Services. We agreed that the property needed 7 zones which is about the same as some of the other quotes that I'd gotten. The biggest difference was the attention to my lack of knowledge of a sprinkler system. From different sprinkler heads to winterizing, the knowledge from Chris was extremely thorough and professional. Fast forward to the day of installation. The crew showed up at the crack of dawn ready for action. Again extremely impressive as I've had contractors tell you one thing and do something totally different. The install was estimated to take 2 days but the job was complete in 1 full day. I did not get pictures of the yard throughout the install and was a little nervous as the yard was trenched and dug up in so many different areas. To my surprise when the crew was complete the yard was in great shape. after a couple weeks you shouldn't be able to tell any work was done. Chris came out a few days later to ensure I knew how to operate the Bluetooth sprinkler control box, showed us where the emergency shutoff valve is located and ensured that we were comfortable and satisfied with the entire process. as you can tell I am extremely impressed with the entire process. From sales rep, crew, and follow up. We plan on reaching back out to Atlanta Irrigation Services after we build a garage in the back yard and actually our neighbor was impressed with the install and got a quote from Chris for their backyard. Frank came to our house and gave us a quote for Outdoor lights.  We approved and asked him to…read moreproceed with the installation and that is when I realized I was given FALSE information.  The big selling point was - Frank said that he uses LED lights manufactured by AMP (sister company of Volt) which are rated for 10 years (40,000 hours).  However, Frank warrants the lights ONLY for 1 year.  That was a red flag in my mind, but I did not connect the dots at that time.    On the day of installation, the installer Zach showed me the fixtures (see pics attached).  The fixtures with the lights (bullet UL-101 lights and UL-102 lights) were not in a box.  I asked the installer why they were not in a box (are these pre-owned fixtures?).  Zach said they do not get it from their supplier in a box.   Further, the fixtures did not have ANY identification - no manufacturer name, no SKU number... NOTHING.  Only the Chinese knockoff fixtures have NO identification.  Do these fixtures have AMP lights?  The answer is a big NO.   I canceled the installation and gave Frank multiple opportunities to clarify and he continues to be EVASIVE.  Note:  Very cleverly, Frank does not include manufacturer's names on his website....if you think for a minute you would know why....however, we are so busy with our daily activities that we really trust contractors and do not get into these details.       Also, watch out for the reviews for Abulous (many look Fake and Paid for).  If a reviewer has only 1 or 2 reviews and has glowing things to say about your service - it is MOST likely a Fake account!! I see several such reviews for Abulous.   Before you waste your like (like what I did), ask that you want to look at sample fixtures.  Do your due diligence!!

With Simply Lit, their website was clear, giving good pictures and specs of each of their products. The process was all automated and I was invoiced over text and email. I was able to reserve, pay, and sign a contract all without interacting with anyone, which was a plus for me! I got the 3ft. RGB numbers and was allowed to pick up the day before my event and return 2 days after my event. The letters themselves were handmade and quality. I was given the app to download that would allow me to change the color.
