Crystal was the silver lining to the whole experience. She was very attentive to my pup, and my little pup was put at ease in Crystal's capable hands. As long as Crystal is there, we'll be back! Lady bug just adored the attention she received and was so proud she literally was prancing to the car as we left. Thank you Crystal, for making this experience positive. Without your help, I would have left without getting the groom done, due to the determination to get nearly $125 from me to groom my 15lb mini poodle.

THERE WAS PLENTY OF SPACE! The girl immediately went to a long-haired gentleman and both looked at me. THEN, both literally followed me around two aisles. I asked the long-haired guy why they were following me. I assure you I was not being paranoid. THEN, I noticed the long-haired guy two to three aisles away looking at me over the top of that aisle like I was a damn thief. I had had it. 1. I LOVED this store. 2. All four of my dogs were groomed by Heather at that store. Not now. Sorry Heather. 3. When I got to the cash register I asked for a manager. It was the LONG-HAIRED GUY. 4. She rushed us to moneygram her the 600 dollars under her husband's name: Joel. Against our better judgement, we sent her the money. Prior to sending her the money she was very sweet and caring over the phone. Immediately after she received it, she was snappy and rude. She promised that the dog would be shipped by ground on a Tuesday (claiming she had her own driver). Tuesday night, she had not given me any information. When I text her to find out what was going on, she proceeded to tell me that the driver was in New York (I'm in florida) and the dog would not be shipped for about another week. Never did she apologize or express concern over the inconvenience. In fact, within the same text telling me that the driver would could not make it, she went on to inquire "who's pitbulls are on my Facebook page". I immediately called her and told her that I did own a year old pit bull and did not understand why she felt the need to question me. Not only is my dog the sweetest animal on this planet, but I had already paid for Justus and it was none of her business whether I owned one pitbull or ten. On the phone, she said that she pitbulls are aggressive dogs but she did not care if my dog killed Justus bc I had already paid for him. Needless to say, she did not send Justus and after about two weeks I received a money order in the mail. (hopefully it is real). This woman is the most unprofessional business woman I have ever come across in my life. According to her, I should take my immigrant *** back to my country and out of hers. VERY PROFESSIONAL. From what I could see by peering through the door to their washing area they only had one station. I may be wrong though cause it was pretty dark and dungeony looking in there. Not much to inspire confidence in a safe area to wash the mutts. The lady at the front of the store was nice, but the prices to use the station harshed my mellow. Overall the store looked like it was either run down, being redone, or just neglected. Take your pick. Nothing some reorganization, new tile and paint wouldn't be able to easily rectify if somebody cared to make the investment.

To quote the great Gordon Ramsey, "SHUT IT DOWN". This is…read moreby far the *worst* pets way to exist, and considering there are several crap pets way in the area, that should let you know how shitty it is. I have had to shop here on occasion and always left unsatisfied and more times than not, left with nothing. This store sucks, do not waste your time or money. Go somewhere else. Before I talk about how terrible this pets way is, let me first speak that I had to visit 4 petsway in ONE DAY to find a product. And I couldn't even purchase when I found it Bc the "system went down" and the staff said "there are other pets stores open". That being said, I shop at many of the pets way due to convenience. But at this point I am only wasting my time. The stores are run by teenage idiots. They are not trained in pet care, pet nutrition or even BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you are 17 and have a ride you can probably work here. Some of the issues I have had eoth pets way employees include but are not limited to 1. Not having any clue about pet care products. Basic pet care and brands they should know, working in this feild. I HATE when I ask about a certain product and the staff has never heard of it and then I find it on the shelves. 2. Staff tries to push you out the door when they are close to closing. 3. Staff is way rude about petting. Especially at Glenstone location . I stopped using the bathing station Becasue the employees felt it was their job to come pet my dogs in the tub. I say dogs Becasue I will come and bathe 8 of my 24 dogs. I'm sure you can look me up and see how much I have spent at pets ways, which I certainly regret having bad to do the past year or so. The staff are uneducated and should not be giving advice to anyone Becasue they don't know anything. They are not trained properly. They often don't have a competent person on staff as active manager. The staff is a joke. They don't even have basic training for customer service. They have no clue how to talk and treat customers. Please just Stock the shelves - my god , even before the pandemic several of the stores just have nothing stocked. Maybe it's the staff. I don't know. I've had to ask when a certain food might be available. And staff can't tell me. They can't even give any info other than "when it shows up on the truck". I have worked in pet retail before and I know that you order foods that show on certain truck deliveries and a certain delivery time can be exspected. The staff could not give me even a rough time frame when food would be in. A week? A month? They didn't know, didn't look, didn't ask, and didn't have any intentions of giving a shit. Shelves are particularly empty at this location and Nixa. Not only in quantity but in variety. Having one flavor bag of food- in a giant store like the sunshine store is insane. So The reason for the review is I can't believe that this was sold. The primal frozen raw. I've been buying this for years. These bags were so feeezer burnt that they came out in one solid chunk. The product obviously has no quality control at the store. The nuggets were dried out, to the point where they were like rubber. I am assuming the product had thawed and been frozen multiple times. When I worked retail we would agitate the bags to prevent the nuggests from possibly freezing together after deleivery. This is something I would suggest. Or practically anything to ensure the products you are selling full price are up to quality. Spending $40 for 6lbs of food and getting it as this quality is a joke. This store is huge and has literally no selection. It's sloppy inside and looks unfinished. You guys did a remodel, how long ago?? It still looks like a construction site. My friend lives near this location and I have given it far too many tries. Just shut this shit hole down. It's embarrassing. The fact that this level of disregard has been allowed at this location is a slap in the face to all pet owners. I will never shop at this location again.

I thought it was a pet store, and while there are certainly pet items like homemade dog treats, collars, and toys, it's not a full pet shop. Fandom items included Doctor Who, Sherlock, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Hunger Games, Supernatural, and so much more. It was awesome!
