Okay so here's the break down of the "Bark Yard."
It seem lots of folks use the daycare. I am unaware of the price, but I can tell you the dogs out front don't seem to have a lot to do, and the two staff I saw in different pins were basically kids on their phones. I personally witnessed lots of dogs relieving themselves, and no one picking it up. That would definitely be a factor if my dog came home with poop on her paws/ body.
The back is composed of a huge patio, with picnic seats and hammocks for your pup! Most tables also have leash hooks on the end since pups must be on leashes in this area. Behind the patio is another yard that you can take your pup in to play with others while you chat or enjoy a beverage. I believe it's a little over $10 to let the run around, also not a lot of activities for the dogs in this area.
Now the negatives..
When we went only one poor girl was working so service was extremely slow. She was trying to prepare food, and serve drinks.
Negative number two; food quantity was very small, and the price was high. Think it was $13 for a small sandwich and tots, beer was $6 for a craft.
Negative three was lack of waste cans, and the ones that did had lids which was difficult to navigate trying to separate paper from basket while holding a lid.
This place has tons of potential though. I'd recommend more activities/ toys for dogs, a better selection of cocktails, and more treats besides $3 cookies for the pups. I'm sure people who live in apartments like the the next door would be the target clientele, but people who have a house might skip this spot unless you are just trying to socialize your dog. read more
