Once we found Bayview Cabins, we were hooked! Our family continues to grow, so we each get a cabin. We ALL look forward to our vacation here every year. The owners Steve & Sherri make us all feel so comfortable, genuinely sweet people who work hard at keeping the place up. This summer my mother & I decided to take my 90yr old grandmother, who is wheelchair bound, away for a mini- vacation. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away at how handicap accessible Steve & Sherri had made our cabin (12 A&B). Steve came right outside, got wheelchair chair ramps for us, had already put up handicap handles in the shower and on the toilet. Each cabin I've been in, is always so clean. So neat. They have cute signs up that make them feel "homey". And my Gram especially liked the hanging plant in front of our cabin. Me & my entire family HIGHLY recommend this getaway!!!

This place was SOO convenient to everything around, several restaurants, shops and bars are in walking distance. The dock area is really nice and everyone seemed laid back, although there were kids running around, they didn't bother us. They provided a paddle boat, a row boat, a canoe and several tubes for us, which was really nice. The main building has an ice machine and free coffee. Only briefly interacted with the owner Steve, but everything went smoothly. The house itself was perfect for the two of us, the bed was comfy and the AC was strong enough.

The mean old lady who answered the door informed me curtly that they had no vacancies and when I asked if I could use their wifi to look up an address, she slammed the door in my face. Then while sitting in the driveway to try and look at my GPS , and older man approached my car and told me to 'get out of there'. This is all over a matter of three minutes time on the property. Shocking rudeness from people in the hospitality business with no provocation on my part.

Very disappointing resort experience -- especially if you come here to swim…read more I honestly don't understand how Point Sebago markets itself as a great lake vacation destination when the main swimming area at the resort is in such poor condition. The biggest disappointment was the swimming area. The water was extremely unclear, and the lake bottom was covered with so much vegetation that walking through it felt like stepping on a heavy plastic bag. It was unpleasant and honestly disgusting. Swimming should be one of the main attractions of a lake resort, yet we found ourselves avoiding the water. What makes this even more frustrating is that we visited other beaches around Sebago Lake and the water was significantly clearer and the swimming experience was much better. So this is not simply a "Sebago Lake" issue. It appears to be a problem with the resort's own swimming area and how it is maintained. If other parts of the lake can have clear, enjoyable water, there is no reason guests should have to accept this at a resort. The nighttime experience was also terrible. People were making noise until around 3 AM, despite the resort's stated quiet hours beginning at 11 PM. We contacted resort security because our family was trying to sleep, but unfortunately, nothing meaningful was done. What's the point of having quiet hours if they aren't enforced? We also looked into renting a boat but decided against it after being told that the rental boats did not have insurance coverage and that we would be responsible for damage. As inexperienced boaters, we obviously weren't comfortable taking that risk. I want to be fair: our cabin itself was okay, and Kate, the co-host, was genuinely kind and helpful. She listened to our concerns and did her best to help. My criticism is directed at the resort experience and management, not her. Overall, this was not the relaxing lake vacation we expected. The swimming area, lack of nighttime noise enforcement, and boat-rental situation were major disappointments. There are other places around Sebago Lake where you can enjoy much better water and a more pleasant experience. I would not recommend Point Sebago if swimming and a peaceful family vacation are your main reasons for coming here.

The food was better than expected. The huge issue was the staff telling us they would have activities around murder mystery. There was one escape room and there was no room for us to play. It made for a boring weekend. The place we stayed was ok and didn't have very many amenities, the heat in the living room wasn't working...made for a chilly weekend. The staff needs to prepare the guests for a weekend expectation. We didn't need a golf cart but no one mentioned that when we booked the trip. We wasted over $1K for this weekend. I would say, keep your money and don't visit this resort.

We've spent summers in Maine since I was a kid, and I feel so fortunate to have found a place like this. The location is ideal if you're exploring the Naples / Casco / Raymond / Windham area and is only 40 minutes from Portland. The new owners - Nancy and Luis - have clearly taken such pride and care in maintaining and enhancing the property with both big and small additions. The decor of each room is charming and authentic to Maine. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The exterior is beautifully designed with hanging plants, picnic tables, and a truly elegant fire pit that's great for a campfire in the evenings. Nancy and Luis are such nice people and so accommodating. We of course enthusiastically recommend staying here on your next trip to southern Maine!

My family and I flew in for a weeks vacation and did not realize they do not offer: Toilet Paper or Shower Towels. Luckily the little general store next door has most household items. They also require you to do most of the cottage cleaning prior to check out- which was at an early 9:30am! We had lots of privacy, use of the camp fire, free admission to the beach. To sum it up, we had a great time and saved some cashing staying here!
