Not only was he extremely experienced and efficient with the installation of this particular system, he charged us approximately $350 less than it would have cost us to go through one of the retailer's contractors. We are now able to realize much more usable space than before. Next job already scheduled for the hanging of a new barn door for the walk-in closet! With a new bike on the way, I found it was going to be quite a challenge storing it in our relatively small garage. I barely had enough room to squeeze the car in with just one bike, so purchased a ceiling hanging system. After the system arrived, I hired Wade Services to do the job. Upon arrival, he suggested an alternative solution that would allow for easier access to the bike. I went with his idea and was quite pleased with the results. Where there was once clutter and barely enough room for one bike, I now am able now able to fit two bikes (old bike pictured - new one will be placed where the tires are), store my ladders and camping tables, and still effortlessly park my full-sized SUV. He also offered other improvement ideas, which I will have installed at a later date. He also suggested new layout ideas for two of our closets. We also plan to have him install those as well! Great work at a reasonable price! Thanks again, Robert! Jimmy H

We were very disappointed Incepector Handyman Jim arrived without the necessary materials (drywall, texturing material and shower tile adhesive) to do the jobs my husband discussed with him over the phone. My husband sent him pictures and dimensions immediately after their phone conversation. We went to Home Depot to get these materials, unfortunately Home Depot doesn't stock the same window sill material Jim said we needed and that he'd provide to repair the most important fix (cracked window sill) we hired him for. We are unsatisfied with the amount of work done for what we paid. Incepector Handyman Jim charged us $75 per man per hour, for 2 men we paid $150/hour. For $1,150, we expected more work to be completed. When my husband told this to Jim, Jim said, "You got all the work you paid for and we didn't milk the clock." We paid for 15 man hours and this is what we got: - 6 small areas of repaired and textured drywall (no paint) along with touching up several scuffed areas. - Re-positioned a toilet paper holder and towel hook, - Applied caulk to an external window sill (ladder required), and, - Installed 5 pieces of interior door trim. Jim also rounded up the last work hour by 15 minutes, for an extra $37.50. When my husband described the window sill repair job on the phone to Jim, Jim explained the type of wood we needed as well as the specific store he would pick it up from; therefore, we expected him to have the wood with him. My husband also told Jim it was a 2nd floor window as shown in the photos we sent him. When Incepector Handyman Jim arrived, it appeared he had no intention of fixing the window sill because he explained he doesn't like to work in the hot sun so he wouldn't fix it until the fall. He also said he doesn't like to work from a ladder, so he wants us to rent scaffolding for him. Since we were very concerned with the crack in the window sill and potential water damage, they made a temporary fix by filling the crack with caulk. Had we known how slow they worked, it would have been better for us to pay by the job. Had we known Jim doesn't do ladders and hot sun, we would have hired someone else because the most important repair was not accomplished.

Update- Still waiting for Incepector Handyman to make this right. I would not use them again.read more

Tim Golden Hands - Old, rusted vent from bathroom ceiling. (Rusted from 25 years of moisture from the shower.)

7/12/25 Aurora, CO: So glad I called a Handyman instead of an electrician! I have a few…read moreelectricians I've used before, so I had a few to choose from when my light fell down a couple days ago. But they usually can't fit me in for a week or two. Plus, if all went well with the light, I had a few more items I wanted to discuss, and they would require a Handyman. So I called Tim (Artsem is his full name, in case you've seen that in other reviews), he picked up first call, I explained about the light, and I asked how soon he could come? I said "Can you come tomorrow?" Now I don't know if he usually works on Saturday, but he said "Sure, how about 9 - 10am?" Worked great for me! So I showed him the light, thinking he would have to get into the attic to get "above" the fixture to replace the cup-thing it screws into, but he said no, everything is done down below. So he ran to Home Depot to get the correct cup thing, and knowing he was heading to HD anyway, I said "See this rusted vent? I tried to unscrew it and change it myself, but it's caulked on tight. Can you replace that?" "Sure!" (Add $10 to my bill. I'm happy with that!!) So I showed him another vent in the basement, and he did that one also. While we were at it, I asked him to put some wall anchors on a tall set of cabinets in the garage, and anchor it to the wall so that it never tips over. And I showed him where a hook on the garage wall fell down because I hung too many folding chairs on it. He picked up some extra long screws at Home Depot, and took care of that too. In addition, I thought that my ceiling fan wasn't working, and had him look at it. He found the problem quickly, and it's working again! Same thing with a lightbulb in the basement subfloor that wasn't working, he got it working again. So I am super happy to have found Tim, and I will 100% for sure be using him again very soon, because I have lots more on my Honey-Do list. Someone asked in the Questions section how much he charges: I believe his minimum fee may be $100. But it seemed that each little thing that I asked him to do (like replace the vents, anchor the cabinet to the wall, re-hang the hook in the garage), he priced at $10 each. I believe he said he charges either "$60 per hour, or a flat rate", like when my fixture fell down, he asked me to send pictures, I did, and he texted me a flat rate without seeing it in person, and I loved his price and said yes. For small items that are quick, like 10 minutes, would be about $10. (He does add on the Home Depot price of whatever he has to buy to do it, so $16 for each of my vents. Therefore, $16 + $10 = $26. Can't beat that! So be sure and find a few items that need fixing, and call for it all to be done in one trip. I was 10/10 pleased with his pricing, I felt his prices are low, but his ability and expertise is high!! Anyway, if you live in Denver, I would call Tim, and if it is something he has done before and knows how to do, I bet you are going to be super happy like I am!! Thanks, Tim!

I was very nervous, because I was told that doors are very difficult to fix, and I learned this, by creating a project on Yelp, then interacting with multiple carpenters. I was beginning to get nervous, because I obviously couldn't leave my house or sleep with a broken front door! Luckily, I found Yury! Yury responded to my Yelp project, had 5 stars!, provided me with an estimate, communicated with me promptly via text - to schedule, arrived promptly on time, was friendly, and - even though it took him longer than his original estimate to fix, and I offered to compensate him accordingly - he refused my higher price! Very ethical, dependable, and he performed quality / reliable work. I trust Yury, and will definitely love to hire him again, and refer / recommend him! :-)

On that Friday morning I threw out a plea for help on Yelp and Ryan reached out to me quickly to ask questions and to also guide me on the process of finding the right size based on the closet measurements. In a task that frankly seemed unachievable and stressful with my tight timeline, Ryan made me feel more comfortable that we could get this done. I ordered the closet doors from Home Depot that same day with an expected delivery time of 5 days and Ryan booked his schedule to come do the work the next morning. On the day of the planned delivery, a day prior to the install, I received a notification from FedEx that it was being bumped to the next day. I called them and they said that the box had been damaged and they would be delivering it the next day with no guaranteed timeline, but expected "midday". I let Ryan know and so he adjusted his schedule to come in the afternoon instead. Also, knowing my tight timeline, he brought along someone to help speed up the install. Ryan and his associate Eric came by late Friday afternoon (when the doors actually finally arrived), and after the doors were hung up, we found that they were shorter than advertised and would require additional adjustments so it would look correct. We also found that the handles had to be manually routed (which was not included in the online description of those doors). With the additional work required, us getting late into the evening and additional materials needing to be picked up, we needed to schedule another day. They came back two days later, a day before listing photos were to be taken, and finished up the install and I could not be happier! These guys did such a fantastic job. I really lucked out with Ryan seeing my request for help that day. He truly went above-and-beyond throughout the process to help me get those doors in ahead of my listing photos. And the pricing? Extremely reasonable. I have hired many a contractor in my time and I know that it can be so hard to find a good one. Call Ryan. He will take care of you.

Examples: a) Living room ceiling needed repair with replacing drywall in a 4x4 section and sanding & re-texturing 2 other areas plus painting took 7 working days, b) in a 6 1/2 hour work day only 2 walls in a bedroom were painted, one coat, no trim work. A project that was supposed to take approx 2 weeks was not completed after 5 1/2 weeks. To be fair I did add a few things to the project but they would not have taken an additional 3 weeks. They probably do a good job on small projects but not on bigger projects. The attention to detail was also lacking.
