The newly expanded outdoor area is awesome and the mister system keeps you cool on those hot AZ summer nights. The beer selection is great with many local micro-brews. Their liquor selection is top shelf, with a fine assortment of scotches, whiskeys and bourbons. I have always met some interesting guys at Fox that enjoy and like to talk cigars and sports. I've been enjoying this place for a couple of years now. I did an on-line order for once and marked it as pickup. I got a call that he accidentally shipped the cigars and ashtray. I was that concerned about it, but they gave me an exact set of the cigars I ordered that I could pick up. I picked them up and a couple of days later my order came in. I was fox cigar lounge with some friends. Everyone there had given they're card to start a tab. When it was time to pay for whatever reason everyone's tab was one the same receipt. It was a big confusion. I had 3 drinks. I had a cigar on my tab and I don't smoke. I have 2 charges on my card. 1 for 26.40 and another for $66. Then the female bartender was rude as hell. Doubt if I ever go back and if I do I will pay using cash per drink. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

O.M.G. What a great find! Well stocked, walk in humidor and bar. Sat outside on the patio under the heaters and enjoyed a couple of wonderful cigars and brews. They allow you to bring in outside food from nearby restaurants if you want to have a bite while relaxing. As a single woman I was pleased to find I wasn't considered odd to be sitting out on their patio smoking cigars. Nice people too! I will be back - often! read more

Oh boy. When you walk in, you immediately understand that you are stepping into a parallel universe. 30% of the place is a giant walk-in humidor. 70% is a lounge/neighborhood bar-esq establishment where smoking is not only allowed but encouraged. The smoke level is probably pretty severe for those that don't smoke. While they ample smoke eaters, it's still a little bit overwhelming. There are men and women (mostly men) slowly enjoying a tasty cigar over a well made drink. They have dozens of high end liquers and beers. From $30 Infininiums, to $19 Don Julio 1942 "shots", all the way to MacCallan 1969 served alongside affordable ($3.75) well drinks made from decent stock. Thay have an excellent selection of beers in all ranges. I don't smoke cigars so I have no idea the quality, but judging from the bountiful selection and my friends' reactions, I say that it's a win. You can smoke indoors or out. Cigarettes are allowed. The staff is helpful and attentive. It's a bit like a sports bar in that they have several flat screens facing the bar. In a lot of ways, it's a step back in time. Whether stepping back to a "Mad Men" era or speak-easies, it's a worthy trip. read more

The staff are incredibly nice and attentive. Great choice of bourbon and scotch. I bring my own cigars. However, as a cigar smoker, this is the smokiest cigar bar I have been in in years if not ever. Even when there are very few customers, the ventilation system seems to fail compared to other cigar bars I go to. The ventilation system seems to either be off completely or running very poorly. The crowd seems to lean toward younger folks trying out the cigar scene. Prices are decent for the liquor. read more

Struggling bars take notice: Cigar's aside, there are 3 reasons to make the trip. 1. The most friendly, helpful staff that I have interacted with on memory. Usually, you find those one or two employees in a bar/restaurant that keep you coming back. I've been here a dozen times and each time, I'm greeted with a smile and made to feel like I've been coming here for years. I've interacted with 10 different employees and they're all carbon copies of one another. Very helpful & extremely nice. 2. The bartenders know how to pour a drink. I've been to and frequent the majority of the SE Valley bars/restaurants and I can honestly tell you, this place serves the most consistent drinks. 3. Selection. Hands down the most comprehensive selection I've seen in recent memory. Craft Beers, Scotch/Whiskey, Tequila, Vodka, etc. Fox's is unmatched, they have it all.
