Rustic little local café that serves breakfast and lunch all day. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday but open for a good amount of hours from Wednesday to Sunday. This café offers variety of pastries drinks and fresh made hot food. All the orders are taken by the counter after the order is placed server will bring the food out to your table. Service is very friendly and sincere . The foxy shop interior is rustic, but kept very clean. We also saw most of the customers they clean up very well after themselves when they're done dining there. It's not required, but people just do it. Which is a rare scene to see nowadays. Definitely keep this friendly local vibe going. Great value with very reasonable pricing . Private parking lot with outdoor seating options. Highly recommend by IG@WineDinenVacay p.s. do not expect good cell phone connections here neither is Wi-Fi offered, carry out a meaningful conversation with the people who come with, to have it the old fashion way.

The picture of the day showed the exterior which is so cute! My daughter and I enjoyed the friendly small town vibe and the food was delicious.

Omgosh! Cutest little shop with great food and WONDERFUL service. Everyone was so friendly and kind. My gf and I ate outside this weekend and had breakfast. Food was fast, fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed everything. Would def return here regularly if closer. Beautiful space and enjoyed the store next door with antiques after a delicious breakfast!

A bright red, small cute house off the beaten path. Outside they have a bunch of tables and some under the canopy. They have free air for bike riders. This is a farm to table type place. The food was good but it wasn't so delicious I have to go back. If I'm in the area, I might stop in and I would try something else. Today I had avocado toast. The smashed avocado was a little too vinegary and the egg was more OE than OMW like John said he could do. Turkey bacon was good. It was super nice they had sourdough bread as well which is great for people with gluten sensitivities. The ambiance is terrific. Like a mini cabin but just a cafe instead. A few books from local authors to read while you wait for your food and paintings and handmade jewelry for sale. John took my order and his personality is dashing. He made a mistake with another tables order and he owned up to it. That's honest in my book. If you go between 9-10am, you'll most likely find a seat inside. Please remember to clear your tables after you eat. Other people are waiting and when there's only two people on during this opening time, you're inconsiderate of the other guests who've been waiting behind you. We live in America because we're FOR THE PEOPLE not against them. Help your people.

Easily the best gluten free* breakfast spot in Howard County. Plenty of options, including alternative milks for fantastic coffee. Great atmosphere and fast service. We will be back! *we have intolerance, so cannot speak to a celiacs experience

I had very high hopes for this place when I walked in. I ordered my food at the counter and patiently waited for my food. The only seat available was near the door to the outside seating area and because of the location I kept getting hit with the door and getting up so people can go out. No big deal, I'm a pretty patient person. When I ordered the wings the gentleman told me that they are smoked and then flash fried to order. Please look at the wings pictured below. I did not eat them and did eat my main course. The burger was cooked to my temperature preference but lacked flavor along with the cold fries. I never did get a refill on my water nor was I ever check on after my food came. I was very disappointed with the food and service.

Great food, huge portions. The breakfast bowl is big enough for 2 or three people. Nice local place

What a cute little restaurant! I love how breakfast is available all day. It is on the slightly pricier side. What we got: Cinnamon Bun - 5* it might not look like much but it is delicious! Ours was made about 45 minutes earlier and we asked for it to be warmed up and boy was it wonderful. The dough was the perfect combination of fluffy and dense, the frosting wasn't over powering, and the cinnamon wasn't an after thought nor did it still the show. I'd recommend getting one of these delicacies for sure. Cream of crab soup - 4.5* a creamy and tasty. It was very hot when it came out but will cool down eventually. I only knocked off a star because I was expecting it to be similar to clam chowder by having chunks of crab in the soup. There were a few small pieces but it seemed to be majorly creamed in. Breakfast bowl - 3* it was an average meal. Decent sized but I'd also eaten a lot before hand so not sure how it's fair for someone who hadn't eaten anything else. Sweet potato hash - 4* this was my partner's dish. "It tasted good but it wasn't special. I liked the spinach with it." Also added that if the price was factored into this rating it'd be a 3 but I like to keep my food ratings purely on the food.

TIP: Order ahead for carry out Compliments to the chef! Thank your for personally servicing us our food and filling our bellies with excellent food. We can't wait to go back and try your lunch menu! ORDER: * Breakfast Burrito * Your choice of meat (bacon, sausage, turkey, ham), eggs, potatoes and cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla. The burrito was yummy and well made. It was accompanied with pico and a unique homemade dipping sauce. The sauce has a tangy, small hint of spice and mayonnaise type of flavor. I'd say it's the niece of a thousand island dressing and spicy mayo. It's was a nice touch to each bit of the burrito. * Breakfast Sandwich * Bacon, egg and cheese served in a warm roasted sandwich. This came with the unique homemade sauce and was delicious as we order the egg over easy. Love how the yolk gives every bite that much of flavor. * Breakfast Bowl * Your choice of meat; bacon, sausage, turkey, ham - we went with sausage. Eggs your style (scrambled this go around), potatoes and avocado. This was a simple yet yummy breakfast bowl. I love how the scrambled egg was cooked. Sort of like a pancake egg. SERVICE: The customer service was good. A kind lady greeted and chatted with us while we ordered. The chef served four food and thanked us for our patience. LOCATION/FACILITY: Elliott City, off Frederick Road near the Fair Grounds PARKING: Free parking on the side of the humidifier SEATING: Indoor and outdoor. I can't wait for it to warm up so I can sit outdoors in the farm style setting PAYMENT METHOD: Cash, card [January 2022] Staff wears masks, sanitation is up kept with sanitizer at the entry and counter

So, I got to check out the grounds around the main building before the bride and groom arrived for rehearsal. They have a wonderful wandering Garden with Fountains and water features. I could sit by a loud water feature for hours. The wedding was in the garden, but the facility had prepared the Veranda in case the rain didn't clear up. In addition to the new main structure, they have Historical buildings and Summer camps.

First you walk from the parking lot to the old barn, you can see it's located by the entrance roadside, and once you get there, walk down the trail, and keep going. You'll be in sort of intersection on your left but we won't turn left here, keep walking and you'll see a walking path *watch on your right with a (ruined) stone gate alike. Walk across the stone gate, turn left and walk for around 10-15 foot steps and turn right, and keep walking until you'll see a sign of small pond on your left, then you're on the right path. You can walk closer to the pond through the short path on your left (that's what we did) and watched any movement around the water, and we found a turtle from here! Or, you can continue walking down the previous path until you see a bridge on your left. From the bridge, you'll see the biggest beaver dam was created along the water line. How cool is that? Another coolest thing was, we bumped into THE BEAVER!! Aaaahhhh!?! Yeeessss!?! We explored and walked back to the trail and found wineberries patch and mulbery tree, so we stopped there and enjoy the berries! *check your left while walking up the hill. Along the walk, we also found A Story Walk, a Demonstration Garden next to Nature Play Scene, a sleeping Eastern Screech Owl, goats house and chickens house. That's a wrap for our good hike today! It was good since the ground was dry and allowed us to explore more around the wetlands 10520 Old Frederick Rd, Woodstock, MD 21163 Daily 9AM-3PM, Sunday Closed inside the Gudelesky Environmental Education Center, with water fountains next to it. some stone trails/path in Clark Honor Garden are accessible both for strollers and wheelchairs. Note: review for Original golf course and outside food service only…read more I really enjoyed my time here playing Turf Valley Resort's Original Course. Bring very walkable with good elevation change is tough to do but it was pulled off very well here. Greens are good and tricky. I definitely want another shot at this place because I got a little greedy at times. Just a good mix of everything. There are a couple of holes where a left to right shot is mandatory from the tips, but otherwise there's a great mix of the tee in terms of shot shape needed and well placed hazards. This is a little more wide open off the tee than the other track. Lots of good people and players out here. The range for members is on top of the hill and has a bent grass level and a Bermuda grass level which is a fantastic way of having a grass range. Otherwise you are next to the parking lot hitting off mats. But this place has a good set of practice areas. The food was solid and the service was fantastic. Definitely a place I would join if it were more convenient for me. I would love to get invited back!

This weekend away was a gift for our birthdays from my MIL; a rare chance to have a peaceful weekend away from our small children. We have been looking forward to it for weeks. It started ok. Wine was brought to our room and the gentleman was very friendly. We made dinner reservations downstairs a couple of weeks ago and Morgan called and confirmed them. She was very polite. Our "sweet escape" package included dinner. The moment the waiter saw that our meal was already paid for he immediately stopped being friendly. He took my plate while I was still in the middle of eating my food and was very off putting. We don't need to be best friends, but just being polite would have been appreciated. We assumed he was upset that gratuity was included but because we ordered additional drinks, we tipped on those also. So I truly don't understand the attitude. Then our night continued down hill. We went up to our room at 9:00 to start getting ready for a nice, quiet evening - only that did not happen. Instead, a wedding party directly below us played loud, bass thumping, room shaking music until 12:17 am. Our room literally shook. It sounded like Operation Iraqi freedom was occurring directly under our room. We called the front desk and asked when it was going to stop and were told "well it's a wedding and the problem is your room is directly over it". Please explain how this is our fault? It's absolutely absurd for a spa resort to have a policy that allows this kind of noise this late at night. It's now 12:34 am. The music has stopped but they are still out on the balcony screaming and hollering; and the wafting smell of marijuana is enough to make Bob Marley want to come visit. Our weekend away has been ruined. We are both tired and ready to go home. Never. Again.

Service was impeccable. We were attended by two servers as one was in training and shadowing the main server. All the servers appeared to be in college. Not that this is a problem, just something that we all noticed. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was top notch. We started with several appetizers. The calamari was delicious! We also got the brussel sprouts which were not at all spicy as indicated on the menu which was just fine with us. Unfortunately, I can't remember the third dish and the menu is not on the website. For our main meal, I got a small bite of my friend's salmon and it was perfectly done. It's so hard to get seafood and steaks right. After just having dried salmon at a local chain restaurant, I so wished I had also ordered the salmon. I did, however, order the filet mignon as suggested by my friends. I was looking for a doneness of medium (my usual order). It was an absolute perfection of color and juiceness. I felt like I was in heaven with each bite. I was also allowed to substitute the potatoes with extra green veggies (broccoli). The husband ordered the flank steak with potatoes and broccoli. He also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. It was a generous portion that very rarely does he say that he was quite filled. We passed on desserts as we had planned to have them at our friends' home. Perhaps another time. The location was quite convenient for us. It was less than a 30 minute drive from Montgomery County. Glenwood is in Howard County. There was plenty of parking and we got a brief look of the grounds. It was just beautiful with lush greens even in December. I can see why our friends are members.
