Lee Fowler is a hands-on professional! After a bad experience with another roofing company that only wanted to replace our entire 9 year old roof, instead of repairing a small leak, we found Fowler Homes, Inc., in Canton, GA, through a Google search. Lee Fowler showed up on time, was courteous, explained everything for my understanding, and climbed up on the roof, himself, for an inspection. He immediately located the issue causing the leak, which was a nail that was not sealed around a pipe boot. Lee also identified other nails that needed sealing on other pipe boots, as well as a gutter corner that needed to be reattached to the roof. Although Lee gave us and adimently suggested a cheap fix option to replace the nail and sealant, we selected to go with another still inexpensive option to replace the pipe boot, sealed nails, wood roof section replacement, and section shingle's. Lee stayed with the crew of four roofers the whole time and completed the job in record time with precision. I inspected the work, once completed, and was impressed and extremely satisfied with the quality of work and materials used. We had rain right after the repair and the leak was completely gone! When I need a full roof replacement, I am most assuredly calling Fowler Homes, Inc. for the job! I hear that they also do decks, so I will definitely have them extend my deck and add stairs to it, since I have experienced their quality of work, first hand. Thank you, Lee! About a year ago we had a very unique roof/chimney issue at our house. Lee came out and took a look but it wasn't a roofing issue, it ended up being something quite complex so he couldn't fix it but he took a lot of time trying to assess what might be going on. I kept his card around because I appreciated him taking the time to help even though he walked away empty handed. We have recently had a roof leak so I pulled his card and gave him a call. He came out the next day and found the problem right away. He and his crew came the next day and fixed it. It was a pretty easy fix and his company has a $250 minimum charge on all jobs (which I understand from a buisness stand point). I think he felt bad charging me that much for the job so he also cleaned out my dryer vent and a few gutters where they were working. He noticed one more boot on my roof that had been jimmy rigged for a temporary fix and fixed that as well. So I was pleased, they were prompt and personable. If we ever have more roofing issues we will call Lee. Great service. read more

We were really struggling to find a roofer to simply come and look at our roof or return our calls for no reason at all, we live in a great neighborhood and it was a fairly simple leak in the roof I believe. I reached out to Fowler and they answered the phone and made an appointment to come out the next day to give us a quote!! He was very thorough and examined the entire roof and took pictures of other things that would need to be addressed in the future. Quoted us for the problem we were having and a second quote for the other issues as well. We called to make an appointment for service and they came the very next day!!!! The team that worked on our roof was very polite and stayed out of the way and did such a great job!!!! They went above and beyond and replaced the wood all around the chimney instead of a few boards!!! We would recommend this company!!!! So polite and professional!!! I don't usually do this but I felt compelled after hiring Fowler Homes for my new standing seam roof. Aside from the excellent job with the roof, the customer service is deserving of an award. Since I purchased this Decatur bungalow back in 2013, I have had experiences with contractors that have cost me a lot of money, time and a little of my sanity. Fowler Homes just blew me away. He was very honest and explained what was causing the leak. He had a team and himself come back a few days later and fixed it. I was amazed that Lee came to oversee the job himself.
