The woman who helped me mentioned that they washed the print. Whatever they did, it worked like magic! They also removed tape from the edge of the print using a solvent. I had a 60+ year-old 3-sheet movie poster that needed serious restoration. It had lots of paper loss, serious discoloration, fold lines, etc. This thing was in poor, POOR condition. In fact, I didn't know IF I would even be able to get it restored. I started doing my research and found a couple of spots in town that handle restoration. I took my poster to a handful of these places and no one really blew me away like John and Poster Mountain did. They've been around for quite some time and have a stellar reputation. John was super nice and attentive in taking his time to explain the process of restoration and other aspects of work that my poster needed done. He also gave me a tour of the studio and showed me some of the pieces they were handling at the time. Then he gave me an estimate on the work and it was a lot more than I expected.
