Finally stopped in after months if passing the balloons of the store…read more It's a small spot, very clean and organized. The owner is very pleasant and gladly answers questions. As is true of most thrift shops, you never know what there is to find. There are large selections of record albums, cds and DVDs. Not sure what kind of market there is for them these day. I took a quick look at the albums. One cover was stuck together and there was the pronounced smell of mildew overall. The back room is full of clothes. And in keeping with name of store, there are odds and ends all over. The owner told me business was good. So apparently there are buyers out there. I might stop back in someday, but this trip didn't really do much for me. I wish the owner the very best of luck.

That said : the bulk of what's here is ladies clothes , books and kids clothes. Not a lot of hard goods , collectible stuff , etc. Very basic- pretty small . Prices are fair-to-good-to cheap. So that's a plus. A tiny bit of men's clothes and a few random electronics and some decorative home items. If you are looking for the following , do NOT BOTHER TO COME HERE: comics, vinyl records, video games . Zero. None. This is a store that does not have a high turnover and donations seem low / slow. On the upside: the ladies that work here are sweet as can be and friendly. Not worth traveling here if you live more than 10 / 20 minutes away. LOOK for the sign they hang outside to see if they are "open", which is not very much.

Once you enter the store there is a plethora and an incredible diversity of antiques carefully sectioned according to theme. Owned by Sabbath and assisted by Laura, the customer can easily get lost and forget the time. I found so many interesting items I didn't have the time to completely see everything. Initially, I telephoned the store searching for an antique candlestick telephone. Laura advised me she had one and she'd place it on the side till I could get to the store and not to worry. When I went to the store I met Laura who was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable and informative. Many of the antiques are subject to price negotiation unless otherwise marked. Once I called the store seeking an antique Edison wax cylinder phonograph. Although they had none available, I was referred to other antique stores in the nearby area that might have what I was looking for. The owner, Sabbath, is a very friendly person who owns this treasure land and is also very friendly, knowledgeable and will work with the customer. Laura is totally the same. I can see that nobody gives a crap about this place with so few reviews but whatever…read more I returned here after being away for a while and my last visit here was many months ago - the placed seemed half empty (or half FULL if you like). I can tell vendors were "pulling out". But things kinda (?) changed here . They now are back to being FULL again however - but all the prices are very high now! The dealers here seem to do what ALL DOPEY ANTIQUE DEALERSHIPS do : They blindly look up prices on ebay or the internet . This is not a good practice because PRICES ARE FLUID on collectibles and antiques. Always were , always will be. Again, it's all about not caring / not wanting to "move things along" - this is what retired vendors & dealers do. They probably have a pension check coming in and don't REALLY need the extra money. The staff here was less than helpful, less than friendly , less than knowledgeable and now sit "Floyd's Baber Shop" style with a round kitchen table in the middle of the store -- and you can hear all their takes on recent current events and the news . Oh wonderful ! I did buy a few OK / lower priced things here but I hope the dealers involved can get their act together and lower some of the stupid old fashioned prices on junk like Flintstones jelly glasses and old magazines that are collecting dust . (Crazy Prices of note: One average fashion magazine from the 1960s -- it was Vogue or something- was marked $75.00 . So it clearly was somebody looking up internet prices - saw one rare issue of Italian Vogue - either sold or was merely asking for $75.00 - and bingo : he thinks his is ALSO worth $75.00 ). Stupid.
