Maybe I look shady, but it happens to me every time I go there. Also, the prices are all retail so you're not gonna get any bargains, but you will be able to get niche items that you don't really see. So it's like a high-end garage sale with higher prices and staff who think you might be shoplifting.

I can tell vendors were "pulling out". But things kinda (?) changed here . They now are back to being FULL again however - but all the prices are very high now! The dealers here seem to do what ALL DOPEY ANTIQUE DEALERSHIPS do : They blindly look up prices on ebay or the internet . This is not a good practice because PRICES ARE FLUID on collectibles and antiques. Always were , always will be. Again, it's all about not caring / not wanting to "move things along" - this is what retired vendors & dealers do. They probably have a pension check coming in and don't REALLY need the extra money. The staff here was less than helpful, less than friendly , less than knowledgeable and now sit "Floyd's Baber Shop" style with a round kitchen table in the middle of the store -- and you can hear all their takes on recent current events and the news . Oh wonderful ! I did buy a few OK / lower priced things here but I hope the dealers involved can get their act together and lower some of the stupid old fashioned prices on junk like Flintstones jelly glasses and old magazines that are collecting dust . (Crazy Prices of note: One average fashion magazine from the 1960s -- it was Vogue or something- was marked $75.00 . So it clearly was somebody looking up internet prices - saw one rare issue of Italian Vogue - either sold or was merely asking for $75.00 - and bingo : he thinks his is ALSO worth $75.00 ). Stupid.

That said : the bulk of what's here is ladies clothes , books and kids clothes. Not a lot of hard goods , collectible stuff , etc. Very basic- pretty small . Prices are fair-to-good-to cheap. So that's a plus. A tiny bit of men's clothes and a few random electronics and some decorative home items. If you are looking for the following , do NOT BOTHER TO COME HERE: comics, vinyl records, video games . Zero. None. This is a store that does not have a high turnover and donations seem low / slow. On the upside: the ladies that work here are sweet as can be and friendly. Not worth traveling here if you live more than 10 / 20 minutes away. LOOK for the sign they hang outside to see if they are "open", which is not very much.

Finally stopped in after months if passing the balloons of the store…read more It's a small spot, very clean and organized. The owner is very pleasant and gladly answers questions. As is true of most thrift shops, you never know what there is to find. There are large selections of record albums, cds and DVDs. Not sure what kind of market there is for them these day. I took a quick look at the albums. One cover was stuck together and there was the pronounced smell of mildew overall. The back room is full of clothes. And in keeping with name of store, there are odds and ends all over. The owner told me business was good. So apparently there are buyers out there. I might stop back in someday, but this trip didn't really do much for me. I wish the owner the very best of luck.

The staff is made up of volunteers who are pleasant and friendly. They all are very dedicated to their work. I have visited 4 times now and I never leave empty handed! The prices are fair and sometimes you can't believe the quality of the items. They have some beautiful sets of formal dinnerware that is sooo beautiful and actually affordable!! The white elephant has become a favorite weekend trip for me!! I highly recommend this wonderful thrift "store"! I forgot to mention it is in the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Too bad there is zero stars…read more I purchased a PoE Network switch from William Werner. He shipped me the wrong model (a NON-PoE switch which was useless to me). In trying to work out the issue, he asked I return ship it to him, but did not reimburse my shipping costs (cost $53 to return ship this big heavy switch) even though it was 100% HIS error. I know we all make mistakes, but William took zero accountability for this issue, and despite my purchase being done in good faith, he took took advantage of my purchase not being local, and avoided all communication. So, when he gets a zero when it comes to integrity, business ethics and a zero when it comes to customer service.
